FirstBarkI took my young and very stubborn 5 month GWP to Tyce and Ian. He spent two months with them and came back a new man. Everything about Utah Bird Dog Training; facilities, daily care, program and trainers are top notch. I wouldnt hesitate for a second to take another dog to UBDT.

Utah Bird Dog Training provides professional bird dog and obedience training in Payson, Utah, backed by nearly 20 years of experience. We train retrievers, pointing dogs, and family dogs through structured board-and-train programs, from puppy foundations and obedience to advanced upland and waterfowl training. Tyce and his team are hands down the best people to go to for hunting and even just basic obedience. Will bring any dog have have to him and his team.
We took our slightly aggressive Great Dane in for discipline training. And two months later we got a very well behaved dog in return. He still needs some reminding but he snaps right back. We are glad we found Utah Bird dog training, and it comes with a life time of follow-up advice, and more training if needed.

Tyce and his team at Utah Bird Dog Training have been a part of my dogs’ lives for over a decade, and I cannot say enough about the love, care, and dedication they pour into every dog they work with. My late labs, Thor and Zeus, absolutely adored Tyce. For the 10 years I had them, I could randomly ask, “Where’s Tyce?” and they would run straight to the door, tails wagging, ready for the ride down to go live their best lives. That says everything about the trust, joy, and bond they built with him. Losing Thor and Zeus last year, just 33 days apart, was heartbreaking beyond words. Now my newer boys, Nalu and Kai, have been with Tyce since the end of January, and I’ll be bringing them home on May 12th. Knowing they’ve been in Tyce’s hands has given me complete peace of mind. Tyce doesn’t just train dogs, he understands them. He loves them, respects them, and gives them the structure and confidence they need to thrive. His team treats these dogs like family, and that kind of care cannot be faked. As someone who has trusted him with four of my babies over the years, I can honestly say I have nothing but admiration, gratitude, and respect for Tyce and his team. If you’re looking for someone to invest in your dog like they’re his own, this is the place.
Utah Bird Dog training not only surprised me with how they helped my new dog who has a timid personality find his drive. Also, delighted me 3 months later it his pick up with how kind and patient they were as we found his drive at his own pace. I will never go anywhere else and be back for a tune up in the Fall!!!
