His communication was clear, his protocols easy to understand and effective, and his knowledge of animals and technique demonstrable. We highly recommend him. Dan at Vail Dog Training is absolutely top-notch! From the moment we dropped off Brody, it was clear that Dan was fully committed to making him feel comfortable and cared for. The daily videos and pictures he sends while you're away provide such peace of mind—you can truly relax knowing your furry family member is thriving. Dan's big yard and his policy of only allowing friendly dogs create such a positive and safe environment, which really shines through in the updates. Brody was clearly having the best time! On top of that, Dan’s rates are incredibly fair for the exceptional service he provides. We also took advantage of his training sessions while Brody was there, and it gave us a solid foundation to continue building his skills as a puppy. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with our dog—Dan is simply the best! Highly recommend!

Harper, my dog, had a wonderful experience with Dan. Dan was gentle, encouraging, and very positive while working with Harper. In the three sessions we had, Harper learned to respond correctly to the commands taught as well as to feel comfortable with the use of the e-collar when we go hiking or walking off leash. During the first session Dan modeled for me how to teach Harper not to jump on people. Dan is an exceptional dog trainer and I highly recommend him. You will not be disappointed.
We love Dan! He has helped us a great deal with our now 1 year old goldendoodle. He is the best of the best.
