I found Dan via google review last year, sadly his account had a glitch and he lost so many great reviews. Our little Rosie absolutely adores and respects Dan!!! If I had not read all of the previous google reviews I would not have reached out to Dan. Rosie(cavapoo) was about 6 months old when she had her first one on one with Dan aka WE HAD OUR FIRST ONE ON ONE. He was amazing, kind, straight forward, and had a plan. Dan worked with Rosie on her anxiousness and taught us general and easy training techniques to incorporate into our everyday. Basically he helped us guide Rosie with manners on greeting people, calming down, no barking, and mostly helped her learn to walk on a leash which was huge because she pulled A LOT! Now Rosie goes to see Dan for his Puppy Palooza, she has boarded with him for several days, and we have done group classes. Honestly we love the flexibility and consistency Dan offers us and Rosie. I trust him completely to treat Rosie as his own and she always comes home happy and exhausted from all the fun they have. Looking forward to many years of Vail Dog Training! If you are looking for a talented, loving, and disciplined trainer, you found him. Also when you drop your doggie off to him, at any time there are 10-20 other dogs staring at you in complete silence. That never happens at other daycares. They stay chill and happy, you can really tell none of the dogs are anxious or scared. Happy puppies all day long!

Dan Goldstein is a miracle worker with dogs! It is as if Dan can read the dogs’ minds and the dogs know exactly what Dan is expecting of them. He helped me train my first dog, but really he was training me. He explained that dogs want to please, but they have to know what you want from them. Dan believes in being kind and gentle, yet firm and consistent in dealing with your pet. He has helped me now train my second dog, and she is complimented on her behavior all of the time. You would do yourself and your pet a wonderful service by having Dan help the two of you learn to work together. It is also a strong bonding experience for you and your pet. I would never consider getting a new dog without going to Dan for some refresher training and advice. He is the best! Sincerely, Pat Peterson.
