Valhalla Hunt Club & Kennels

Please be cautious when boarding your dogs here...we left my 9 year old lab mix here for 2 days (Aug 4th-6th), she was happy, healthy, full of life and when we went to pick her up, she was severely sick and dehydrated that she didn't have the strength to get her legs under her. We had to pick her up in order to get her into our vehicle. There were no adults there to speak with. The girl taking care of the dogs had told us she was just fine a bit ago when she checked on her. My dog was in need of care, no water bowls outside either and her food bowl was still full. By the time we got home to care for her, my dog died. Don't let this happen to yours just because the boarding price is decent. We tried numerous times to get ahold of the manager to let her know what happened, she has yet to get back to us.

We used Valhalla for the first time with our German Shorthairs, Tabor and Dipper. I was looking for a new kennel as our former boarding facility closed. I was extremely impressed from start to finish. Stephanie was great with communication and even offered us a tour. The facilities are top-notch, very clean! Our dogs stayed for almost 3 weeks and came home happy, healthy, and tired. Definitely worth the drive from Denver or Boulder ( only an hour drive) and they are close to the airport. The ladies that work there really know their stuff and love dogs! Next time we will definitely plan for some training as they offer that too! A great place to board your hunting dog. My husband may even look to start hunting with them after seeing their after seeing their facilities!
