Valor K9 Academy

I can't express how thankful I am to Amy and her crew for working with Beau and I. We came to Valor K9 academy with a unique situation. Amy was patient and understanding, even going as far as to research things for international service dogs. Without the training we received Beau never would have made this monster move from Boise, ID to Naples, Italy. Beau handled 3 days of travel, 5 flights, numerous buses, trains and very busy cities with ease. When he became nervous he instantly kicked into his training and knew exactly what to do. Valor K9 academy's methods and philosophy is the reason we were able to make it to our final destination. Their teachings are very straight forward and easy to follow. Beau and I gained a confidence that I will forever be grateful for. I will forever recommend Valor K9 academy to anyone looking for helping in training.

We discovered Valor K9 Academy through our breeder, Council House Goldens. What a great recommendation. The owners are extremely experienced, professional, dedicated, and compassionate. Valor K9 Academy offers several training options. We chose the Puppy Head Start online course for Oakley our 8-week-old English Cream Golden Retriever. The course covers everything you need to raise your puppy. The 16 modules with instructions and videos not only help you train and raise a puppy, but also educate the owners who may have no experience in dog training. The owners of Valor K9, Amy and Justin, are always available and quick to respond to questions and concerns. Although we laid the foundation for Oakley there were a few areas we needed additional assistance. Justin did an amazing job of getting us back on track. After her visit with Justin, Oakley was an improved version of herself, and Justin gave us the tools and confidence to continue her success. I cannot tell you enough, IT IS WORTH IT. I’ve been doing lessons with Amy for 8 weeks now and I can truly say it is a night and day difference between my dog before traning and now! She is currently being trained as a PSD (psychiatric service dog). She is a MUCH happier dog now that she has constant traning and is always on her BEST behavior when we are out in public. She use to be a HASSLE to walk due to constant pulling and trying to greet people and dogs. Due to the traning she even stopped getting into things at home due to her enjoyment in working. Amy has truly helped me build an amazing bond with my dog, Sandy.
