Working with Aaron at Valor K9 has been a wonderful experience! Aaron is working with our puppy who will eventually be service dog for one of our kids. Aaron has done an excellent job in teaching our puppy obedience and basic commands. He’s also excellent in helping everyone in the family understand how to work with the puppy. Any questions we’ve had with continuing training at home, Aaron has given helpful advice that we can implement and see quick improvements. Aaron is an excellent trainer for the puppy and an excellent teacher for us. I would highly recommend working with him.

Valor K9 Academy has been the biggest blessing to our family and our puppy. Amy worked closely with our family’s needs, wants, and lifestyle to help pick the best dog for our family. With her vast knowledge of breeds and breeders, she helped us every step of the way. She worked closely with the breeder to hand select a puppy perfect for our family. Once we selected our breeder we got to work with the online puppy course. It covers everything you need to know about selecting, bringing home, and training your puppy in the best way possible. We did our homework and by the time our puppy was ready to come home we felt confident and prepared for our growing family. At 3 months old, we did the puppy head start board and train program to set the foundation of success. Amy housed and trained our puppy for 4 weeks and we cannot thank her enough. Our puppy is so well mannered, confident, eager to please, and the best possible family dog thanks to Amy. Her professionalism and passion for dog training truly shines brightly. We cannot recommend Valor K9 enough!

I can’t thank Amy at Valor K9 for her individualized approach when she does her training. I had already done basic obedience with my dog, Rocky and worked with several trainers. Somehow along the way I lost some confidence in myself and my dog’s ability to do Therapy work and my anxiousness and perfectionism started transferring down the leash ! Amy and I had an in depth conversation about some of Rocky’s personality traits, behaviors and my goal as a dog owner and Handler for Therapy work. Amy’s approach and technique was what Rocky needed so he would best understand what was wanted and expected. Amy has a method that is easy for both dog and owner to understand and incorporate in daily exercises which are both rewarding and fun for the handler and dog.Her intuition allows her to adjust accordingly to individual needs-(both dog and owner). Amy is firm, positive and supportive. Rocky and I are both so much more calm and confident and enjoying Therapy work. We look forward to our visits and it is so rewarding to watch Rocky share his love. To think I was ready to throw in the towel and give up serving in the community because of the anxiety we both exhibited prior to working with Amy. Thank you Amy for your training program and seeing in Rocky his ability to pursue Therapy work. Amy definitely has a gift in working with dogs and I do believe she has passed on this gift to her daughter who, at 4 years old steals the show when we go on visits! After being asked by one of my local rescue groups if I could watch a 9 week old puppy, I said yes and bought the Valor K9 Academy Online Puppy Head Start Program. I've been eyeballing it for a while, but I was previously only fostering older dogs, so I didn't have a good excuse for the purchase. I immediately began the program (before pickup) and I can’t tell you the satisfaction I got from training this beautiful puppy (possibly Great Pyrenees/Anatolian mix). I know how emotionally and physically taxing it can be to train a puppy, but this program was seriously my support and made things WAY less stressful than it could have been. Although I've had dogs for over a decade, my knowledge of formal dog training is pretty limited. I've read some books, listened to a few podcasts, watched youtube, etc., BUT I can wholeheartedly say this online training is by far my favorite. This program is comprehensive, but not overwhelming. The mix of videos, text, worksheets, and resources are perfect for the online learning environment, and I look forward to practicing more when I have the opportunity to foster another puppy. P.S. I did laugh a bit every time Amy held Stella because I think my foster pup was about twice Stella's size/weight, but I just counted it as my workout.
