Rhonda helped us with our GSD Finnegan. When we first began working with Rhonda we lived in Burlington, VT and Finn was aggressive while on leash when other dogs were passing by. From individual one on one training, to training with other dogs and finally bringing Finn to Camp with many dogs off leash, Finn is a new dog, and Rhonda gets all the credit. She is amazing. We adopted Missy a year ago as a sweet but scared 2 year old black lab. Missy came to us from a high kill shelter in South Carolina as an overly submissive and scared pup. From our initial consult, I knew Rhonda was different. She took the time to get to know Missy, was honest with me about issues and came up with a balanced training plan that addressed Missy's behavior while building confidence along the way. Rhonda also focused a lot on me as a handler, my leash skills, and what cues I was giving Missy that may be stressing her out. By training me to stay calm, confident, and in control in different situations, I was all of a sudden able to keep my dog calm and focused- it was like night and day! After training with Rhonda, I can now take my pup everywhere with me and feel confident in her reaction to other dogs and people. Everywhere we go, I am stopped by strangers to tell me what a well behaved dog I have. Most importantly, Missy can now go on every trip, hike, walk and adventure and fully participate in our family! If I have any questions or see unwanted behaviors creeping up, I now know how to spot them and know Rhonda is just a text, video, or quick meeting away! In addition to building positive behavior in Missy, Rhonda also taught me how to be the confident, predictable and in charge owner that Missy needs! VT Dog Pack is the best of the best when it comes to training. We rescued a dog with some challenges who needed a lot of training.
