What is there to say other than Theresa has been a blessing to me and my crazy golden retriever Cy. We started with private lessons and progressed into a board and train and the difference is night and day. Cy walks far better on leash, her recall is dialed in, and she’s not so anxious/neurotic/out of control in her behavior. Go in with open eyes though, often it is not the dog that needs the training as much as it’s the owner and how to communicate with the dog. If you’re not willing to put in the work before, during, and after the training then your end results will not be solid. However, there is no better investment in my and Cy’s future than what I’ve committed to with Theresa. Genuinely, thank you and we look forward to our ongoing work and relationship!

My wife and I have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rooney attended Theresa’s puppy kindergarten when she was a pup and it was a great class and introduction to the basics. When Roo turned 1 year old we did a lot of research on continuing training with Roo. We interviewed many trainer’s about their board and train programs. Some good and some not so good. We needed to feel assured that Roo would be safe and receive the proper training she needs. We knew how great Theresa is and why were we wasting our time interviewing others?! We contacted Theresa and scheduled Roo’s 3 week program. Roo stayed in Theresa’s home and was part of her pack which was very important to us. Theresa sent us videos and updates which made us feel good. After the 3 weeks,Theresa trained us and followed up @ our house to check on Roo. Roo now does all her commands and is a pleasure on our walks. Roo is a happier dog now that she knows her boundaries. As I’m writing this, Roo is on her “place” behaving 😀. Theresa is the best and we highly recommend her. Thank you Theresa for making our lives more calm 😎😎😎

We recently moved to the area. Our sweet, 3 year old Lhasa Apso, while loving people, seemed overwhelmed with other dogs when walking causing her to display a very angry, aggressive behavior. Due to having had an older dog and then COVID, she wasn’t socialized during her first years. We engaged Theresa from VIP Services for in-home training. On our third visit, the weather cooperated allowing us to go outside. She brought her shepherd along for the training. With our busy streets it didn’t take long for Gracee to “perform” in her inappropriate way when encountering another dog on their walk. Theresa immediately knew what to do to train our dog (and her owners) how to handle that situation. We have been walking every day with amazing results thus far – we realize it’s a process but one that was so worth working towards. Our last session involved going to Wellen Park to walk around to see how she reacted in a new setting. She was very stimulated with the new smells and activity, but soon realized that she was safe with us and responded accordingly by not reacting as other pets walked by. We are still working on all the training techniques Theresa taught us and HIGHLY recommend the VIP Services for your pet training needs. We can’t thank her enough in the transformation of our fur baby!
