VIPet Services is a local dog training business. We have over 30 years of experience of dog training and a licensed veterinary technician . We offer private lessons either in our home or yours as well as boot camp for those families that are either too busy or more severe behavior issues. We use both positive reinforcement as well as several training tools to achieve the goals that you are looking to achieve. We train the owner as well as the dog.

We adopted a 1 year old energetic Bernese Mt Dog. We had 2 other Bernese who were older and laid back. So with no experience with a personal trainer, we sat down with Theresa to review our issues. She has different packages but we choose for her to come to our home. People on our street have seen a change in him and have commented . Our last session was at the walkway along Charlotte Harbor. He did very well and my nervousness eased up during that hour. With confidence in him and myself, we ventured to Fisherman’s Village. Amazingly I was proud of his behavior. Thank you Theresa for guiding us to the next level.

I recently adopted a dog from a local shelter. He was very reactive to other dogs and it was difficult for him to walk in our community. Theresa taught us some techniques that have virtually eliminated the behavior. She was patient and helpful throughout the training course we took from her. I feel much more hopeful that my dog will be able to adjust to living with and enjoying other dogs.

Theresa is exceptional with our dog Romeo. We opted for private lessons. She has helped with training in the house, behavioral issues, leash walking, overall adjustment and more since his rescue and adoption. Today he actually walked with her German Shepherd. Nothing short of a miracle in 4 lessons. She takes the time to train me which is so important. Can't wait for the fifth lesson. We really appreciate and benefited from this.

Theresa is fantastic! After helping our Loki, a Rescue Garage rescue who had spent too much of his life at the shelter adjust to us, she took us on as clients. Loki was having challenges, having been labeled as reactive and a resource guarding dog, he had an aggressive response to one of our adult sons. 5 weeks of private sessions took us from being afraid we’d never have family occasions to our son walking Loki alone through Home Depot!!!! Theresa is an expert on dogs and is willing to tell the owners when they have to change to enable the desired changes. 10 stars!!!

I cannot recommend VIP Services enough! Theresa was so wonderful to work with. We opted for the 10 week course for our 2 year old boxer pup Luna and the difference in her behavior is night and day. Theresa not only taught Luna all of the commands and proper behaviors she needed, but also built our confidence to work with her and continue with her afterwards. Before training she was a jumper, and only understood basic commands. Now she stays down, knows all of her commands, and can walk on a leash properly. Her recall is excellent and we are able to take her in the car and out in public without worry. We are so grateful for everything she’s learned and for all of Thersea’s hard work!
