Hey! I’m Bethany Johnson, calm dog enthusiast… I am the head trainer at Walking Dog Training. I train in my home located in the cutest little neighborhood called Audubon Park in Orlando, Florida. I work with dogs that are a bit bratty (pulling on the walk, reactive on leash, ignoring recall, jumping on people, etc.) and help them learn manners while guiding the owners along the way.

Bethany has a wealth of knowledge in dog training. When listening to her speak, you can feel her love for helping people and their dogs. She is very open about her training methods and she gets results! This is visible through all of the content she shares on IG. Personally, she helped me gain the confidence I was lacking with the ecollar…which was the missing link to managing my dogs reactivity.
Hands down! One of the BEST resources out there on how to get started. Such amazing illustrations to go with and a fun read. The e collar guide changed my relationship with my dog and I am so so grateful for Bethany’s account! I am a fellow trainer and had a dog in for some pretty bad separation anxiety. The dog was doing really good but I still wanted a second opinion. I scheduled a virtual call with Bethany and we had a wonderful talk. She is so kind and sweet. She knows what she is talking about and provided another exercise to practice. (And I had the dog back for boarding the other night and she was still so calm and relaxed in her crate) Bethany exudes community over competition. If you need help, CONTACT HER! Even if you are far, a virtual call can be so so beneficial!
