Warner K9

I wish I could give Warner K9 more than 5 stars as the training has been a game changer for us. I approached him about a year ago for resource/food aggression between my little Pit mix and my Shepherd/Rottweiler mix. Both dogs were also extremely leash aggressive and we could never walk them together, and even walking them individually was like a tugging match. We immediately noticed an improvement in their behavior and within a few session they were transformed into dogs that walk easily together without further aggression in the home. Scott is funny and warm. He is firm, but never unkind with the dogs and extremely supportive of our needs. We recently contacted him again for help with a rescued puppy and he gave us direct and honest feedback about what it will take to deal with behavior issues and separation anxiety, as well as the dynamic for 3 dogs at home. Scott left us with clear guidelines and a plan for how to manage the situation; not only alleviating my anxiety but leaving the dogs happier and safer too. I can not recommend his services enough.

I initially contacted Scott about my sweet but slightly leash aggressive dog poppy. I had no idea why she was barking at other dogs but it was embarrassing and made it difficult to take her out. After doing a boot camp my dog came back significantly better behaved. Scott helped me realize my dogs fear on leash and learn how to both reward good behavior and correct her barking. We both greatly appreciate all of Scott’s help!

I had an amazing opportunity to work with Scott for competitive sport dog work recently, and was blown away with his knowledge, enthusiasm, and attention to detail. He truly cares about instilling proper foundation skills and his articulation of concepts makes learning fun and seamless. I look forward to working with him in the future, and highly recommend to anyone seeking training for their pet or competition dog.

Scott is a lifesaver, to say the least. We found ourselves in a situation where we had a tremendous amount of stress due to our dog trying to (sometimes successfully) escape, barking and presenting as vicious towards any other dog or unknown people and was tearing up our doors. I didn’t have much hope given that she was 7, but after 5 weeks at boot camp, she returned to us a changed dog. In addition to training her, Scott gave us a better understanding of her temperament and reasons for her behaviors (primarily fear). The training he did with my fiancé and I during the transition back was invaluable and though we were worried she would slide right back into old habits, that has not been the case. We are very thankful to have chosen Warner K9 and have had Scott as our trainer! We would absolutely 100% recommend Scott & Warner K9.
