We cannot say enough good things about Scott! We just finished a 4 week puppy board and train with our new lab puppy. With 3 young kids under age 7 at home, I knew that there was no way I could train a puppy without help! He made the transition so smooth - spent a bunch of time answering all our questions, explaining how to reinforce the things he taught the dog and giving us ongoing feedback in watching us work with our new pup. Day one with our pup I was anticipating chaos...but instead we felt so prepared and ready - our pup was crate trained, potty trained, trained to stay on her bed until released, knows simple commands (place, down, etc), slept through the night without a peep, and has the fundamental start for loose leash walking. Scott also helped us figure out all the supplies we needed to get (crate, raised bed, food, toys, find a vet, leash, etc) and even went out of his way to collect some of that for us as well as handled vaccinations due between 8-12 weeks. Highly recommend!

Scott is incredible at what he does! We did a board and train for 4 weeks with our 3 month old German Shephard and he was so well behaved afterwards. Scott really takes the time to explain his process, answer any questions and teaches you on how to maintain the training. We are able to hang out around our house while our puppy is relaxing and not trying run/bite/chew at anything. I would highly recommend anyone with a dog talk to Scott on how he can help!

We rescued a mixed breed four month old puppy from the Camp Fire. He and two siblings had been abandoned when a few weeks old and never had the natural correction that his mother would have provided. He was smart, full of energy and hard headed. In short he was a handful and stressing my wife out. We talked to a handful of boot camp trainers and finally decided on Scott. He took our pup at six months, worked hard with him and brought us back different dog. He still has energy but he now responds to commands and is much better behaved. No longer chases or bowls over the two other dogs or two cats. Scott made four home visits to work with us and our pup over the final 10 days of boot camp. We are extremely pleased and happy with Scott’s care and training of our pup. We have a whole new beginning and are thrilled.

My wife and I can't recommend Scott enough. If i could give more stars I would. Scott is not just a dog trainer, he is an incredible human being that embodies the phrase "Life Long Learner". He is always looking to grow as a handler and a trainer. After my wife and I moved to the East Bay we were looking for a trainer for our 8 month old Malinois, Bruce. After talking with many different trainers Scott was the only trainer that had worked with Mals AND had a similar philosophy to our previous trainer. He encouraged us to keep building our relationship with our dogs, by setting appropriate boundaries, and taught us strategies to not only keep our dogs safe and happy but to make our everyday life much more manageable. Without Scott we wouldn't have such a great bond with our dogs and our house would probably be torn down to the ground by Bruce. Some of the behaviors that we worked on include, over stimulation with other dogs, meeting new people, greeting people he knows and loves. Basic obedience, and beginning bite work. Scott has increased Bruce's confidence and our confidence in Bruce. Most importantly hes still the extremely social and lovable psychopath that we fell in love with when he was 8 weeks old (just a lot better). Love Scott, his philosophy, and training methods.
