Webster's Dog Training

We reached out to Webster‘s Dog Training for our six month old puppy. We had tried a few trainers previously but felt frustrated, as we weren’t getting anywhere fast. We spoke to Jake in the morning and he was at our house in the afternoon..! Jake took the time to explain how their puppy program was laid out, including the content of that program and its development. Jake also took the time to check on how we had our dog set up and adjusted a few things ( crate , play area and feeding area ) which made a big difference. We trained twice a week for an hour with Jake. The appointments were set two days apart, so we had plenty of time to practice in between sessions. Jake encouraged us to video each hour for our reference and made himself available by text 24/7 and also by phone from 7 PM until 10 PM every evening..!! The program absolutely covers all the basics you’ll need for a brand new puppy and plenty more. Webster’s Dog Training are positive reinforcement trainers, their programs all include crate training, pee pad training, Scent detection and much much more. We had a new puppy and very quickly realized that we were heading towards disaster without professional help. The first thing Jake suggested was Crate Training for Lulu and also suggested keeping the crate within a Puppy Play Pen for added control and safety… … “ Game Changer ..!”. The next thing that really helped was the written “ Daily Puppy Schedule “ this took all the guessing out of what to do and when to do it. Add that to the easy to follow lessons in their 5 week Program and we were feeling a lot happier about our pups behavior. Jake taught our pup how to behave but more importantly taught us how to teach and get the best out of her daily. Puppies are a lot of work and can be overwhelming… being organized with a well thought out schedule full of interesting structure was the answer.
