Gordon is the best! My partner and I reached out to Gordon when we were desperate to get our dogs to be better behaved. Gordon not only taught them how to be better, but how to do the work ourselves. Gordon’s approach is no-frills & starts from the foundation and then builds up. Our dogs now can sit, stay, come, and just generally listen better now because he taught us how to do so with them. The thing with Gordon is, you have to put in the work, and he’ll call you out if you’re not, but honestly I think that’s what’s so great about him. He sets you up for success for when you no longer need him. We already miss him but know he’s a text away!

As a dog owner for much of my life, I've been incredibly impressed with Webster's Dog Training. We began working with Gordon when we adopted our new pup this spring, and he quickly helped us correct key behaviors as well as begin to tap into our dog's real potential. He is firm, fair, and consistent with animals, and you can see how quickly they recognize and respect this when working with him. For owners, beyond the great lessons themselves, he provides the tools (including writeups of key lessons and evaluations of videos we send) that help facilitate success. His training philosophy hinges on giving dogs the opportunity to use their own intelligence and decision-making to make the correct calls themselves, which seems to resonate strongly with our pup (and many others' pets too, judging by these reviews!). In all honesty, our dog's favorite part of the week is training with him. Gordon is passionate about his craft and cares deeply about the dogs he works with. He has gone above and beyond with us — now that we've finished his beginner-level course, he continues to be both communicative and available for additional training sessions. I can't recommend Gordon enough. Of course, we are beginning his intermediate-level classes next week!

We got a puppy. And the first call was to Gordon. Gordon responded immediately and said, great, let's do this, I'm ready to help. We feel truly fortunate to have Gordon as an asset to help us learn how to work with our pup and integrate him with our older rescue. It's been five weeks now and the results have been everything we could hope for. We now have a calm engaging pup thats learned confidence and discipline and is so much fun to have in our home. Gordon was such a pleasure to work with! Is very thorough and turned my crazy one year old bernedoodle into a trained and loving girl. My only regret is not reaching out the him sooner. He was also extremely accommodating with my busy travel schedule and very fairly priced. His honesty and transparency throughout the process was a breath of fresh air. He not only was training my puppy but was training me as well. I can’t recommend him enough and am so grateful for everything he’s done for my household!

I initially hired Gordon on a referral from a friend, as my dog is a rescue and is generally good but can be reactive with other dogs and with certain people if I’m present. He’s a small dog so he can’t cause much harm but it’s an annoying habit I wanted to break. Gordon was able to come in and quickly identify what my dog needed to help build confidence and lessen his anxiety. Gordon has provided many tools that I work on with my dog at home, and while we still have some work to do I already see such an improvement. Plus Gordon genuinely cares about the betterment of my dog, and he’s timely, responsive, and generally great to work with. Big thank you to Webster’s Dog Training for changing our lives!
