My pup and I are so grateful we found Gordon! From day one, it was clear that he genuinely cares about the dogs he works with. He is professional, personable, and incredibly punctual. His training notes are clear and easy to follow, which took all the guesswork out of our practice sessions. He helped me navigate several specific challenges I was having, and his structured approach gave me the confidence needed as an owner. Gordon Webster is truly the real deal when it comes to dog training. As a brand-new dog owner, I had no idea where to even begin with training my eight-month-old French bulldog, and Gordon made the entire process feel easy and achievable. His training methods are practical, simple to follow, and incredibly effective. Gordon is always prompt, extremely detail-oriented, and genuinely cares—he’s available to answer questions at any time and provides thorough, easy-to-understand follow-up notes after every visit. We rescued and adopted a young high energy dog, who obviously hadn’t had much training. From the very first session we recognized that we were in good hands because of Gordon’s extensive experience, practiced training methods, and both his knowledge of and affection for dogs of all breeds. Gordon not only shared his expertise during our training sessions, but each week he sent us detailed notes of what had been covered, thereby producing a valuable manual of the entire eight week training program we now have as a reference. Thanks to Gordon, Sprout has learned and continues to practice the basic skills of a well mannered dog. Thanks to Gordon also, we are developing leadership skills and greater confidence in our ability to continue to help Sprout grow. We are grateful for all that we and Sprout gained, and for Gordon’s many Ientertaining stories and good cheer.

Gordon saved us! My husband and I both had dogs growing up, but this was our first dog together and wanted to do things right, especially with a rescue puppy with past trauma. After one chat on the phone we were eager to sign up for his Obedience classes and get our new puppy on the right track. Gordon is professional, knowledgeable, and truly cares about our puppy. He is a great resource not only for obedience but anything dog related. And truly just a very genuine, kind person. Our puppy Cero caught on so quickly and it saved us and our sanity. Within one class she was sitting, laying down, sitting back up and standing. We quickly learned better behavior for walking, stay, wait, and crate training (which we were so unfamiliar with but so glad we listened to Gordon!), and much more. The obedience classes gave us the exact foundation we needed to keep our puppy behaved and entertained. We're going to be signing up with Gordon for another level of classes in the new year for sure. We recently adopted an 18 month old Doberman that had been severely neglected. He brought some behavioral issues along with him, including hyper reactivity towards other dogs, and inability to focus or relax in public, or obey basic commands. These traits made it nearly impossible to bring him out for walks where other dogs would be encountered. We quickly turned to Gordon and Webster’s Dog Training for help, as although we’ve had lots of experience with dogs over the years, we were unable and ill equipped to resolve these traits. Gordon quickly established a training plan with a foundation of basic obedience performance commands that have quickly brought focus and behavioral changes in our boy Loki. We’ve seen remarkable changes in just a few short weeks! Loki and I actually enjoy the training exercises and drills (and l’ll admit, I’m as much of a student as he is), and we are now able to take walks with control and focus when other dogs appear. He’s also becoming more relaxed around the home as his confidence increases, his insecurities subside, and his understanding of basic commands and behavioral expectations improves. We’ve still got work to do, but Gordon has us on a progressive plan that we’ve seen quick results from, and is really helping this neglected Doberman become one of the family. Loki is a beautiful dog, and we know that Gordon and Webster’s Dog Training are going to help us bring out the true star that he’s always been inside. We can’t be more pleased with what’s been done so far, and what is yet to come.
