We worked with Nicki for 5 sessions and we would highly recommend her! She was able to help us with a variety of issues we were facing with our pup: desensitization, anxiety, barking, playing off leash, and enrichment. She was able to give us meaningful and simple strategies that we practiced with her during sessions. She provided detailed notes after each session so we could refer back to the step-by-step strategies. She is very approachable, kind, professional, positive, and really listened to what we had to share!

Nikki is a wonderful and patient dog trainer. We used her for our 2 year old adopted dog. She started showing signs of reactivity and aggression to strangers. Nikki taught our family how to handle this situation and use positive reinforcement to stop her behavior during walks and when people would come to our house. She gave us resources such as exercises, toys and tools to use everyday that were both effective and reasonable for a busy household. She came to our house which made it very convenient. We are so grateful for all her help and guidance throughout this process. She is the best!

Working with Nicki was an amazing experience! We started private sessions with her when our bernedoodle, Maggie, was almost 12 weeks old. Maggie had a lot of energy and Nicki provided us with so many tools and resources to help us manage that energy in a positive way and teach Maggie to assimilate to our household routine. We noticed a shift in Maggie’s behavior very quickly. Our sessions were always light-hearted, amusing, and very very insightful. Thank you for all of your help, Nicki!

Nicki has been so helpful as we navigated a range of issues (reactivity and anxiety, manners with guests, demand barking etc) with our four year old dog, Oscar. She gave us lots of ideas and new commands to work on each week and also came each session with fresh ideas for enrichment. She left us with lots of homework and great notes. Additionally, she encouraged us to pursue a new vet which has also had a positive impact on our boy’s daily life. We are so grateful!
