About Wheatland Dog Center
Wheatland Dog Center in Derby, KS is a small, specialized dog training and boarding facility on a 20 acre farm that focuses on sending your dog home happier and healthier than when they arrived. The Dream Dog Program is customized for each dog to build a foundation of obedience and address unwanted behaviors. Our Puppy Raising program helps new puppies start on the path to becoming well-behaved, happy dogs, with two or more weeks of being raised and trained in our home. Daily activities and individualized attention from our experienced professional trainer ensures dogs have their emotional and physical needs met with low stress and anxiety levels. Wheatland Retrievers did an amazing job in helping me select and train my Lab puppy! They are the very best dog breeder/ trainer ever!
Kayla is absolutely incredible. I love that i can drop our golden doodle off at her center when we go out of town and he’s not in a kennel 24/7. She lets him interact with the other dogs on her land. She’s absolutely wonderful! Never worry about him when he’s in her care!
I cannot recommend Kayla and Wheatland Dog Center enough! Jax gets so excited to go to their facility for boarding, so I know he is always in great hands while he’s there. I cannot recommend Kayla and Wheatland Dog Center enough! Jax gets so excited to go to their facility for boarding, so I know he is always in great hands while he’s there. Kayla is also proof that you can in fact teach an old dog new tricks as her training with my 9 year old Jax has been going great! Our experience overall has been fantastic and would recommend anyone to her for boarding, training or the purchase of a beautiful, well trained lab puppy.
