Where Sit Happens Dog Training and Enrichment

Jess and the team at Where Sit Happens have been absolutely amazing in helping us manage our dog's reactivity! Our dog Jason has always been pretty reactive since we adopted him, but last July we had some neighbors move in on our street that let their dogs run around the neighborhood and Jason's reactivity had been getting so much worse and I wasn't sure how to help him. At the time, we had been using their dog sitting service and thought it would be a good idea to look into their training services as well. Turns out they had a class specifically for reactivity! We decided to give it a try and within the second or third class there were so many noticeable improvements and now my husband and I are able to continue working with Jason at home and feel more confident with how to manage our dog's reactivity and hopefully continue to lessen his reactions over time with what we've learned. Overall, the service and training classes were great and the price was reasonable. I highly recommend Where Sit Happens for your dog training needs!

Training a puppy was intimidating, but finding Where Sit Happens was the best thing we could have done for our pup. All the trainers are amazing. they are highly experienced, kind, patient and have taken us step by step from the basics of puppy training to now more advanced classes. Their flexible scheduling with multiple classes per week helped us work around our complicated schedules to keep our dog training at a progressive pace. He’s learned many commands, but I think his favorite is “wanna go to school?” We can’t recommend Where Sit Happens enough!

Jess has been wonderful working with us when we rescued a very nervous little guy. She came to our home to work with our family and has been communicative and responsive outside of those visits to help us as much as she can. You can tell she really loves what she does and she works very hard to be accommodating with our schedules. She sent us detailed documentation after our visits with homework and suggestions for strategies to continue at home. We have not yet utilized the classes at her facility, but we have been very happy with her home training sessions.

We have taken our dog to Where Sit Happens since they opened their doors. My husband and I had looked at various training facilities and trainers beforehand and when we met Jess and her team, we knew we had found the right match to help with our pup. The staff is kind, patient and encouraging. The space at Quarry Walk is always clean and set up ready to start the class. It’s so helpful to learn the strategies so we can practice at home as well. The schedule offers many different levels and focus areas. We are so happy to have found Where Sit Happens and highly recommend it to everyone!
