Where Sit Happens Dog Training and Enrichment

WSH and Jess have been a godsend! I’m training my goldendoodle to be my service dog. My dog also has canine autism. This means he learns differently than other dogs do. After his diagnosis I began searching for a trainer to help me with him. I can’t tell you how many I spoke with. Some had one way to train and it didn’t have any exceptions to fit my dog, others laughed at the concept of him having autism. None were a fit for us. Then I learned that WSH was opening up only 10min from my house. I shot Jess a message explaining my dogs situation and that I still believed he could be task trained, he just needed to be taught differently. We set up a meeting to talk and the biggest weight was lifted from my shoulders! She fully believed in my boy and understood that he was different but not less. From then on WSH became our home and my dog has come so far under their guidance. One size doesn’t fit all and they get that! I highly encourage everyone to take classes at WSH. With FOCUS, CORE & Reactivity classes along side their Puppy Pre-K, and Levels 1-4 basics… there’s something for every dog at every stage of life!

Jessica Barry and Aubrey Sancho are fantastic with training me and my pup. First class, Bella had her tail between her legs and shaking like a leaf. They calmed her down fairly quickly and began training. They listened to my end goal for Bella and designed a plan. After five classes, Bella now walks into class with her head held high and her tail wagging. She has already moved up to the next level. Thank you so much Jess and Aubrey!

Jess Barry and her team at Where Sit Happens have made a huge difference in life for Sweet Pea and her family! Sweet Pea is a leash reactive rescue and Jess has been amazing, training both the Pea and her family so we can have calmer walks. We've even been able to join the group training classes with other dogs in the same space! I can't speak highly enough of our experience -- Jess and Aubrey engage Sweet Pea's heart (she loves them, and wants to go in the door whenever we pass Where Sit Happens!) and challenge her brain with their tips and tricks for training. Both individual training and group classes are scheduled for convenience and maximum availability, and the different levels of group classes offer exciting opportunities for a variety of training experiences.
