We use Praise Motivated Training Techniques and provide 3-4 hour Train the Trainer turn over to transfer to you what we taught your family pet. The training of the family to handle their newly trained dog is what separates us from other trainers.

MATTHEW, Ace is doing very well in his training. He has also settled in nicely and is currently working on all the AKC Basic Obedience Concepts. He is working doing three 45 minute training sessions per day as well as three 1.5 hour play sessions. We have had a chance to talk and text a couple of times. We are qualified to Train Dogs that do not hear or do not see. If you look us up on Face Book - search for - Whispering Oaks Kennels Professional Dog Training - you will see a dog named "Egg" who came to us for Passive Aggression issues. Egg came back to us one year later for boarding; I greeted him and put him through his paces immediately. I had Carley video tape. Egg did everything perfectly. He can see, but not hear. He learned all his Basic Obedience through Hand Motions and looking at our face and body. We have been training dogs professionally for 20 years.

Piper our 6 month old Rottweiler was in the 21 day training program. She is a very good natures dog, but had begun to show some resource guarding issues as well as other alpha behaviors. With the excellent training that she received she has become a much calmer dog that is responsive to commands. We are able to take her anywhere in the community and be comfortable that she will respond immediately to commands. We highly recommend this program.

My mom, Cheryl, was staying in Georgia visiting her sisters. She had already been planning to have my brother’s German Shepherd, Zeus, put into training. She did a quick online search for trainers in the area and saw Whispering Oaks. She called and spoke to Mike, and she felt very confident this was the right place for Zeus. At the time of training, Zeus was 11 months old with a history of fear and anxiety. My brother brought Zeus from Pennsylvania, and Mike came out to where they were staying to do an assessment. Zeus had a lot of fear and a history of biting. Zeus was in the 21 day training program. He was muzzled, and after his second day in training, the muzzle was able to come off. We were all shocked at how much progress Zeus was already making. Throughout the program, we were sent video updates showing the commands he was learning and his progress. We all couldn’t believe how much Zeus had learned and how much his temperament had changed in a short period of time. Cara Ann and Mike did such an incredible job training Zeus. Today, he is a completely different dog. My family cannot thank Whispering Oaks enough. You all truly saved Zeus, and we are so grateful for all of the time and care that was provided. I would highly recommend Whispering Oaks to anyone with a dog with reactivity, high prey drive, fear, and anxiety. Thank you!!

We sent our 8 month old female yellow lab to Whispering Oaks for their 3 week advanced training course. We could not be happier with the results! She is so obedient now which makes for a much happier family dynamic! My husband & I both agree that it was worth every cent that we paid! We are looking forward to making many sweet memories & having her in our lives for as long as is God’s will!

This is Tallulah but LuLu for short. The training my sweet, hyper, and energetic girl received at Whispering Oaks professional dog training was such a game changer. I enjoy and even get to brag on my obedient girl. Now I can take her anywhere confident that she will listen to me completely off leash. I will have any future dogs always trained by Whispering Oaks. They took the time to teach me how dogs think and see the world. We also discussed my specific dog’s personality and took the time to detail explain how to work my dog correctly. I am very pleased and highly recommend this dog training facility.
