We have been in business since 2000 professionally training about 350 dogs per year in American Kennel Club Certified Programs. We use Praise Motivated Training Techniques and provide 3-4 hour Train the Trainer turn over to transfer to you what we taught your family pet. The training of the family to handle their newly trained dog is what separates us from other trainers. We guarantee our training result or you do not pay for the training. In the 26+ years we have been training family dogs, I have never met a company that stands behind their work like we do. Our home on 11 acres is the perfect training environment. MATTHEW, Ace is doing very well in his training. He has also settled in nicely and is currently working on all the AKC Basic Obedience Concepts. He is working doing three 45 minute training sessions per day as well as three 1.5 hour play sessions. We have had a chance to talk and text a couple of times. Are they qualified to train a deaf dog?
Hello Natasha, thanks for your question. We are qualified to Train Dogs that do not hear or do not see. If you look us up on Face Book - search for - Whispering Oaks Kennels Professional Dog Training - you will see a dog named "Egg" who came to us for Passive Aggression issues. Egg came back to us one year later for boarding; I greeted him and put him through his paces immediately. I had Carley video tape. Egg did everything perfectly. He can see, but not hear. He learned all his Basic Obedience through Hand Motions and looking at our face and body. We have been training dogs professionally for 20 years. Mike Sinteff is an AKC Evaluation #32666

What are the prices ?
I believe training is $70 daily. Not sure about boarding. They have website with phone number. Just had my dog trained there.

I highly recommend Whispering Oaks AKC Dog Training. I did a lot of research looking for a dog trainer who could build solid learning and behavior foundation using positive reinforcement training my 5 month old 4-1/2 lbs Yorkie “Scotty” did a 3-4 week Board and Train. Scotty is a Yorkie with a Napoleon Complex and Cara Ann and Mike worked on this and addressed it. I was kept well informed of his progress throughout his stay. Scotty is a totally different dog after his training and the results show that his training with Cara Ann and Mike was worth the investment. Scotty learned all of his basic obedience commands and I continue to work with him on them so that they are second nature to him. He is a much more well behaved and confident dog and he knows what I expect him to do and how I expect him to act. Cara Ann, Mike and Teresa are wonderful and great people to work with. Any after-the-training question I had, they have answered. On turnover day, we were so happy to see our Scotty and we were amazed of how much he had learned from Cara Ann. Turnover day was our training session and we recorded videos of Cara Ann training us. I go back to the video to make sure I’m not doing something wrong when Scotty doesn’t respond to a command. Cara Ann and Mike are AKC certified trainers and evaluators and Scotty earned his AKC Star Puppy certification! It’s been 5 weeks since turnover day and Scotty is doing all commands he has learned very well, some of them perfectly! Scotty loves our training sessions at home and that’s because he was trained by great trainers! Nothing is cuter than a 5 lbs small Yorkie auto-sitting next to you, looking at you, and just waiting for you! If you’re looking for a great trainer … you’ll find one with Whispering Oaks AKC Dog Training. I’m looking forward to working with them to pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen certification! Thank you to the entire Whispering Oaks Team. Addendum: Mike, Scotty loves his "appartment". That's where he sleeps, naps, eats and he loves to "go lay down" and 'nighty-night" there! We did remove the divider so he has a bigger room!
Very pleased with training results I delivered wild teenagers and got back obedient young adults
Mike and his team are exceptional. They took our eight year-old untrained and sassy golden doodle, and, in three short weeks, turned her into a obedient and happy dog. We walk with her in the commercial area of Buckhead without a leash and she will not leave our side thank you Mike and team
Our 1and a half year old little Yorkie spent 3 weeks here. The behavioral changes were remarkable. Though it was very difficult for us to leave Stella for those weeks, we were sent videos of Stella’s progress once per week. The trainer was excellent. I am writing this review one year later to say that Stella is well-behaved and thriving. We are all happy! Well done! ‘
