OUTSTANDING!!! 10/10 This was my second opportunity to work with Rob in the past 11 years and he has only gotten better. Rob trained our now 11-year-old lab out of his garage, before making this his full-time gift to folks like us who want to offer our four-legged family member(s) proper training. Training that ultimately benefits the whole family, and those that encounter our pooches. In the past 11 years since Rob initially trained our mature lab we have relocated to Tennessee. After looking locally and not finding anything close to what Rob offers, we made the easy decision to drive our 14-month-old pup (15 hours each way) to Rob for a 5-week board and train. What a blessing! We now have a pup that is both mindful and respectful to both of us and we look forward to introducing him to the real world as soon as weather permits. Rob is readily available throughout the training process should questions arise and provides video updates weekly keeping you well informed of your pup’s progress. Rob’s results are OUTSTANDING, and we have two four-legged family members to prove it. This was the very best experience we have had with our dogs ever. We had one 6 month old doberman and a 2.5 year old golden-shepherd trained by Rob at Whitewater Retrievers at the same time. They came home wonderfully obedient and well trained for walks, entry ways, heeling, sitting and staying in place, etc. We couldn't have been happier. Our golden-shep learned how to obey finally! We highly recommend Whiteriver for training your dog whether a younger or older dog. Also, my wife needed surgery and we had to change the dates and Rob was extremely accommodating and also worked in our golden-step to the schedule even though we and not initially planned to have her trained. We thought "you couldn't teach an old dog new tricks", but Rob at Whitewater defies that myth. We call Rob the dog whisperer! Thank you Rob for such a great job and also helping us out with scheduling at the same time. We highly recommend Whitewater Retrievers for training you dog!

If I could give 10 stars I would. I took in a good puppy for obedience and gun dog training and got back a great puppy ! Willy is focused and responds to every command I give him I couldn't be happier. Rob takes time to explain everything in detail before leaving so you know how to continue at home. Most important Willy loved Rob and I felt good about leaving him at the kennel. GREAT EXPERIENCE !!!
