Whittier Dog Club - Training & Boarding

First let me say Chris and Sasha are literal saints on this earth. My family and I lost our home in the Eaton Canton fire. We lost everything but most importantly our place of stability and peace. I was referred to Whittier Dog Club by a friend and I was able to reach out to Sasha. I texted her about our situation on how we temporarily was unable to keep my 3 year old Belgium Mali in our care until we found a home. They welcomed my family and Bruno with open arms immediately. She responded so fast offering their service to board Bruno as long as we needed with no strings attached. Bruno before arriving was very reactive to other dogs and was unbearable to walk on a leash. They had no problem with that, as well with helping boarding Bruno and getting his vaccines up to date, they were able to train him and teach him structure. He has now changed into a beautiful gentleman and I’m so thankful for all their help. Bruno made great connection with his trainer Rudi and loves him so much. I am now able to take him home to an apartment which is new to us as were use to a house with a yard and Bruno transition has been amazing to see. He is 3 years old and proved to me it’s never too late to get your dog training. I look forward to continue to being Bruno back to train with them. Thank you for all your help!

After taking home a 3 month old Doberman Pinscher puppy - it was clear that training was required, especially as he got older, stronger, and smarter. My girlfriend has a beautifully trained German Shepherd protection dog molded from the ground up by Chris at Whittier Dog Club. After some convincing, I decided that in order for my dog to live a happy and productive life, he too would be trained under Chris and the amazing staff at Whittier Dog Club. Let me be perfectly clear - This is an investment that will continue to provide a return for the rest of your dog’s life. I opted for the 6 week board and train off-leash program and could not be more impressed with the results. My dog now understands high level training commands and responds effectively and efficiently. While 6 weeks is a substantial amount of time, it is required to get your dog to the level Whittier Dog Club deems satisfactory; a high level. Throughout the process I was continuously sent updates, photographs, and videos of my dog’s progress; all of which allows the owner to understand and appreciate the level of dedication Whittier Dog Club invests in each dog. The proof is in the pudding - Whittier Dog Club regularly sends its dogs to compete in elite level dog sports. If you love your dog - I cannot recommend Whittier Dog Club enough. I was incredibly happy with my experience at the Whittier Dog Club. The staff and volunteers were so welcoming and knowledgeable, making both me and my dog feel right at home. The training programs were well-structured, and I noticed significant improvements in my dog’s behavior and socialization. It was clear that everyone at the club is passionate about helping dogs thrive. I will definitely be bringing Cooper back soon!

Chris and Sasha are incredible! I worked with them while they were Klutch K9 for my first dog Doja. I then rescued a Pitbull mix who was a sweetheart but needed obedience and better manners. We did the 6 week e-collar program and I could not be anymore happier. My dog was away for 6 weeks and it was terribly hard but I don’t regret it. During her stay I got pictures and videos and did lessons. After her boot camp was done we had more private lessons with both dogs. She came home knowing what was expected of her. I worked with Chris on my skills because I saw how much I was lacking. I feel much more confident with my dogs and we actually have better communication. I came to write this review for Whittier Dog Club since I just boarded Doja and Lily with them for a week while I was out of town and realized I forgot to write a review for our board and train!
