Whole Dog Institute is a local dog training business serving clients in the Durham-Chapel Hill-Hillsborough area. We help our students understand how to communicate more effectively with their dogs and how to solve basic behavioral challenges, as well as teaching dogs what we want from them. Bernadette and I went through the puppy play and train classes and Our instructors Jordaan and Pamela were the best. I cannot wait to bring Ethel to agility school. BY FAR THE BEST PUPPY CLASSES this dog mom has ever been through! :) currently so tired we couldn’t even get the harness off!

We had adopted Luke, a hound from the Orange County Shelter who was pretty skittish and shy but appeared to be a good learner. Jordaan form the Whole Dog Institute came out to our house and spent a lot of time with us, guiding us through leash training to confidence building and suggesting ways to play with Luke and talk to him so he will become more comfortable in his new home. Jordaan has a good knowledge base to draw on and is blessed with patience and emphasizes a holistic approach to training your pet. My own opinion is it was a big help in that it helped eliminate some of my mistakes in the training process. We're really glad we had him come out.
