FirstBarkSasha was a very reactive dog prior to a 4 week board and train. Now we are able to take her everywhere with no reaction from her. I am very pleased with the training she received and would highly recommend Wild at Heart training academy.

What age should I start training?
We recommend starting some sort of training as soon as your get your dog in order to promote good habits, a healthy relationship, and decrease likelihood of learning things we dont want! Puppies can start lessons as soon as 8 weeks old, and our Puppy board and train starts as young as 12 weeks! Older dog's benefit from training just as much! The oldest we have trained is 13 years old

We cannot recommend Mykelti and Wild at Heart Canine Academy enough. We brought our 10 month old Ridgeback puppy Frankie to them after a less than optimal training experience elsewhere. From the initial Meet and Greet, we could tell that it would be a completely different training experience with Mykelti. Frankie was immediately engaging with her and is now so excited to train. After 8 weeks with Mykelti, we have a completely different dog who is turning into such a confident and well behaved dog. Mykelti treated Frankie as if he was her own and is invested in your training as much as you are as a parent. Cannot recommend her enough!

I highly recommend WAH Puppy Training for anyone wanting a strong start with their new dog! My Belgian Malinois mix, Ranger, is a high-energy breed, and I worried that constant corrections would affect our bond. Thanks to Mykelti and the team at WAH, our training has gotten so so far! At just 4.5 months, Ranger now: -Focuses on me during walks with no leash biting or reactivity, even around other dogs. -Stays calmly at my feet in stores and coffee shops. -Has great crate manners. -Loves his prong collar and knows it means treats, play, and training. A friend recommended WAH, and after just an hour-long evaluation, I was given invaluable training tips and access to their online course, which was a game changer. After board and train, Ranger returned with excellent leash manners and a strong response to praise and corrections. WAH has set us up for a promising future, and I’m thrilled to keep building on this foundation!
Everyone at Wild at Heart has been fantastic with our sweet Athena. Alyssa is great and they are so responsive to texts and questions. Turned our wild child shepherd puppy into sweet little lady ( most of the time! She is a still a shepherd puppy). Look forward to seeing her progress in the advanced training.
I absolutely recommend this company for dog training. Alyssa and the other trainers are so patient and knowledgeable when it comes to the best way to tackle different issues, managing dog behaviors, and providing education on the best types of foods for your dog. I love going out in public and getting compliments on how well behaved my dog is.
