I can’t say enough good things about Dawn and Willow Service Dogs. When I was 14, I was struggling with severe food allergies to mainly dairy protein & tree nuts(I was especially touch-reactive) and had very little independence. Thanks to Dawn’s training and dedication, I was matched with my first allergen detection dog, and everything changed. Because of her, I was able to attend high school like a normal kid, go on trips, and even eat out safely, things I couldn’t have imagined doing without my parents before. Dawn helped me gain not just safety, but confidence. Her work gave me so many amazing experiences I thought I’d miss out on. Now, nearly 11 years later, my retired service dog is still sharp as ever and living her best life lounging around and I know without a doubt that if I ever need help, Dawn will be there. She’s always just a message away when I need advice with my current dogs, and her dedication hasn’t slowed down one bit. She’s constantly learning, whether it’s keeping up with new research or gaining insight from fellow trainers and I think that drive to grow is one of the most valuable qualities you can find in someone you trust with your dog. What started as a trainer-client relationship has truly become something so much more. Dawn has been a mentor, a resource, and, honestly, family. She’s seen me grow from a shy 14-year-old who loved dogs to the almost-25-year-old who now spends her weekends doing dog sports. She’s honest, thoughtful, and truly wants the best for every team she works with. If you’re considering Dawn’s services, I highly recommend her. You won’t just gain a trainer, you’ll gain someone who genuinely cares, and who will be there for you and your dog for the long haul.
