Wolf Pack Canine

We have never boarded our French Bulldog in the 3 years since we got her and so we were careful in searching and reviewing the right place for her. After reaching out to several places, we decided to try Wolf Pack Canine who offers a "test day" of sorts for their doggy day camp. Our dog did very well and the staff loved her so we booked boarding for a week when we went on vacation. The whole process was smooth and painless, we followed Wolf Pack on their socials and saw several pictures of our dog posted throughout the week and all of the staff are very friendly and attentive, giving us the piece of mind we were looking for. The rates are very affordable and thus we would not hesitate for a second in using Wolf Pack again for boarding, day care or training services in the future.

I would not recommend Wolf Pack for dog daycare. I brought my dog there and he kept coming home smelling like urine, which I later realized was because he had been sitting in it—likely due to being caged. I was shocked to learn they use cages and treadmills for “exercise,” which is not what I want for my dog. When I looked into it more, I saw they only have small, cut-up pieces of parking lot for the dogs to be outside in. These narrow, rectangular patches are far from what I’d consider a suitable or safe outdoor play area. Dogs need space to run and socialize—not to be cooped up, confined, or walked on a treadmill. I felt completely misled. They even accept aggressive breeds, which only added to my concern about safety and quality of care. Thankfully, I’ve since found another dog daycare just up the road that’s everything Wolf Pack is not—completely cage-free, open play areas, and a true focus on the dogs’ well-being. I won’t be going back to Wolf Pack. If I wanted my dog caged I would had left him at home.

Wolf Pack has been a huge part of my pups life for about three years, she’s been to daycare, daycare & training, 1-1 training, board & train, and regular boarding! All of the trainers there are kind, caring, and truly committed to the wellbeing and growth of every dog that joins the pack! They take time to listen to our needs and goals as pet parents, and to learn about each dog. From pool days, to agility, to field trips, every pup at Wolf Pack is going to have the best experience with a great team of people! In addition, I always got updates on training and daycare activities, the first day report card we got was great, and when I asked about the spaces the dogs got to use while there I got a detailed description of indoor and outdoor activity areas, and kennel spaces. My pup always has a burst of energy at pickup time, but the minute we’re in the car she has this huge smile that says “I just had the best day!” I always laugh at her crazy wiggles when we come in for drop off and she sees her favorite people, and anytime we drive by without going in she always looks out the window like wait you passed my puppy school I want to go in to see my friends!

I normally don’t do this especially when we came here due to a family friend. However, I was very disappointed in the care my dog received. Everyday he came home smelling like pee. I was concerned about it and asked, I was told he did not use the restroom in the crate and they weren’t sure where it came from. They also told me I have to crate train him because he yells in the crate. That tells me 1. They are annoyed he’s loud and 2. They didn’t notice he was covered in pee. I canceled after Wednesday this week because I got him groomed and when I picked him up, he was sticky and smelt like pee again. I was so angry. He also had a scratch on his nose that they have no idea where that came from either. I 100000% understand that things happen but you could’ve called me and I would’ve paid for him to get a bath. I truly do not understand how this fell through the cracks for multiple days. I didn’t say anything because I was so disappointed in Wolfpack and I trusted them with my dog. As I said a family friend works there, my brother took his dog here, and I really didn’t want to make waves but I can’t stay quiet. It’s unacceptable to let my dog sit in pee whether it’s his or another dogs. The girl told me they sprayed dry shampoo on him but didn’t tell me why.. again just very upset with this and won’t be booking or recommending Wolfpack to anyone.
