We empowered our energetic five-year-old golden retriever to thrive by enrolling her in training sessions with Mike, a highly skilled trainer who aligned with our values. A pre-training phone conversation reassured me that Mike's approach was collaborative and tailored to our unique needs. His calm demeanor was a perfect fit for our family. Through our sessions from July to October, we gained invaluable insights and tools, transforming our home life and unlocking our dog Bailey's full potential. Mike's exceptional ability to train both humans and dogs has been a game-changer for us. My husband, Bailey, and I have acquired a newfound confidence and understanding of our dog's needs. With Mike's guidance, we've learned how to create a harmonious and engaging environment that leaves Bailey happy, engaged, and fulfilled. We're deeply grateful for Mike's expertise and look forward to continuing our training journey with him next spring. I just can’t say enough great things about Woof Works and trainer Mike - he is absolutely incredible with our dog Ernie and has given us all the tools to continue training and using the amazing knowledge and communication skills that he taught us. We really enjoyed the time we spent at the lessons which was an unexpected benefit, just a really enjoyable space to interact with our dog and for my husband and I to work together. It started out just to be some lessons to improve leash walking, but over our many classes It ended up being so much more than that. We have an incredibly deepened and bond with our dog, And I truly wouldn’t have believed some of the things that he can now do would have been possible. if you’re looking for a trainer in the area, look no further, Mike truly is the best of the best!

Mike at Woof Works Training is absolutely amazing. Our dog Oscar started out this summer jumping on people at our camp and pulling the leash on walks so much that it wasn’t safe for our kids to walk him. We had 11 sessions with Mike and he is a completely different dog! Mike is not only an expert trainer of dogs but did a great job teaching all of us how to engage our pup and provided us with the tools to help our pup be the best he could be. We have a dog who we love to take on walks now and who can safely meet new people and new pups. We give Mike 100 stars, the only two who deserve more are Aggie and Annie his two pups who love to help out during training sessions! Thank you Mike! We will see you next summer for some skill brush up … but we will continue with all of what you taught us over the winter !

We had such a great experience with Mike at Woof Works! We have a puppy who was very much in need of some basic training but also in need of some work on her anxiety and ability to live in a busy house with kids. Mike helped us so much and got us to a positive place with lots of tools and new skills. We’ll be back for more refinement over the summer, but in the meantime we have a pup who is so much more confident and able to fit in with the family rhythm. The training was especially good for building a really strong relationship and trust with our pup, which has helped with obedience and in so many other ways. Thank you Woof Works!
