Can Youngs dog training class help with aggressive dogs
Unfortunately no, Group obedience classes are not the best learning environment for dogs with behavioral issues. Group classes work best for dogs that are in a calm emotional state and are receptive to learning. Dogs with behavioral issues are heavily focused and can not process new information and put you and your dog at risk of hurting yourself or others. Individual lessons with a trainer utilizing non aversive methods would be your best option. Then over time with clear and consistent training the possibility of getting into an obedience class is likely.

I enjoyed these classes and learned a lot. The class was very small and individualized attention was an extra bonus. My only issue of not hearing the instructor well as he spoke fast and not loud enough, so I had to ask often to repeat.

Overall, I was very happy and satisfied with the skills and training from this class and I would highly recommend him for any type of dog obedience class! Times/location were quite convenient as well!
Jonathan did a great job helping us train our Australian Shepherd puppy. He was consistent, had great communication, helped us to understand our puppy, & gave us practical ways to train our dog effectively while having fun!
Jonathan is very knowledgeable about dog behaviors and not only how to train dogs and puppies but how to show you how to train them. I was very impressed with his puppy classes. Would highly recommend.
