Yuruani Olguin is the founder of Yuruani Olguin Dog Training, Inc. She has worked extensively with clients throughout New York City, helping build relationships based on mutual respect and understanding.
Yuruani is CPDT-KA certified and her training is based on force-free techniques, taking into account all aspects of each individual dog’s situation, including breed, background, temperament and, very importantly, household environment.
Yuruani is also a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT). She specializes in working with clients whose dogs suffer from separation anxiety through a humane systematic desensitization protocol. Her goal is to help dogs and their humans live a happy and healthy life together.

Yuri is an absolutely amazing trainer and was a magician with our 2 month old Australian Shepherd. If you are considering a trainer, Yuri is definitely the way to go. Each session was incredibly effective, and I felt as though the training was more geared towards us and how we can continue to develop with the puppy moving forward, rather than simply training the puppy. We have had the opportunity to work with Yuruani in both the class and private setting. We could not be happier with the training our dog has gotten. Yuri is so observant of behaviors and patient with us as the owners as well as with the dogs. She has helped us through problem areas with our dog such as barking, anxiety, etc. She is so fantastic to work with and I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation. We will continue to use Yuri with our dog who is nine months old to continue to create the right behaviors and tailor the wrong behaviors with all positive reinforcement.
