This class was so FUN, educational, and inspiring! I’m so glad we spent 6 weeks teaching our little Riot how to play, listen, and overall build the foundations of a trusting relationship. Gordon and team were always so helpful and friendly and I really appreciated the personal tips and tricks as well as letting the pups get some play time in to learn those social skills. After each class, Gordon sends out an email with a review of the homework and provides additional tips, tricks, videos, comics, and ebooks throughout the week. All the materials are extremely helpful and effective. One key takeaway is that these courses are designed to teach YOU how to train your dog. If you don't do your homework, read the materials, and practice daily, the responsibility falls on you. Zen Dog Training has been amazing for our new pup! We were anxious bringing him home, but Zen helped us instill basic manners, correct problems with gentle interruptions, and gave us the tools to encourage our pup to be a great leash walker! Gordon really puts a lot of effort into the 6 week class, allowing us to cover SO much in just a short time! The class was a great mix of dogs both in sizes and personalities, which was fantastic for early specialization!

Julie is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to training! Julie sat with us and took her time to make sure we were truly understanding of everything. She did not rush the training, you can see clearly that she truly enjoys helping others help their dogs in the safest way which I love. She's followed-up already to ensure there is even a further breakdown of the training plan. She's just phenomenal! Just from our first session I am quickly able to fix some behaviors that were forming with Nala and she's doing awesome! These techniques are great and extremely helpful when training. I would highly recommend Julie and Zen Dog Training to anyone!!! I'm happy that I called because I knew I needed some help, but I am thrilled at the training session and the progress within just 24 hours. Can't wait to show Julie how great Nala does in about 4 weeks time!!!
