Zenergy Dog Training

Goooood! Life transforming! A very positive and successful experience for us and our dogs. We dropped our German Shepherds off at dog training college (Zenergy!) into the talented, super hard-working, and extremely effective hands of trainers Devon and Josh. Dex (a 6-month old male GSD puppy) and Kat (a 3 year old female GSD) experience so much more fun, freedom, and time with us... almost wherever we go. We are a true pack/family and it's wonderful beyond our wildest expectations. Our goal was having well-mannered, obedient dogs who can safely be off-leash. We got that from Zenergy - and so much more. What turned out to be really key for us was learning how to reinforce and continue their training. So we know what to do and how to do it. Before Devon and Josh, if one of the dogs didn't obey a command (like "sit") or dragged me down the road on walks, I didn't know the right way to handle it. In working with Zenergy, I was able to "renegotiate" my relationship with the dogs from "fun affectionate mom they didn't have to listen to" into "mom, the respected leader who protects them, gives them rewarding jobs, confidence, and praise, and takes them on all kinds of super fun adventures." It's been life changing for all of us. It's such a joy being together, anywhere, all the time. While the dogs were off at "college", we missed them terribly. Huge kudos to JEN in the office for all of her coordinating, great communication and responsiveness, and expertise. We also received frequent updates on our dogs' progress via photos and video on Instagram (thanks to Devon, Josh, and Jen). Watching our dogs transform, seeing them happy and healthy, gave us so much peace of mind. We can't recommend Zenergy enough! Thanks so much. We are forever grateful.

We chose Zenergy after our grand-pup Archie graduated! We left our precious Piper for 5 weeks for what my husband calls finishing school. It was 100% worth the investment. Piper was a good pup when we left her and she came back a great pup. When we are out in public people are amazed at how well behaved she is. Walking on and off leash is relaxing for us and her. We used to struggle with her “here”. She would like at us like- you talking to me and now we say “here” and she runs and sits right in front of us and the best is when people see her do it- they are amazed. No more counter surfing- YAY. Our trainer Devon was amazing and we are so grateful for her. You won’t be disappointed- a well behaved pup is the best kind of pup 🐶

I am very pleased with Zenergy! Like many others, my pup entered my life during the COVID quarantine--he's my COVID puppy. He's a Weimaraner. The breed is famous for high energy, prey drive, separation anxiety, and stubbornness. I knew I wanted to train him properly to set us up for a lifetime of happiness and success. Zenergy did that and more. While he is still high energy, he knows when to relax. He doesn't go after anything that he would naturally think is prey. And he's an angel that has a little separation anxiety, but not to a destructive extent. His personality is unchanged--he's still the same goofball that I dropped off for Zenergy's four-week bootcamp. Some of the commands that he came home knowing were down, down & stay, recall (from really far away), place, and shake! He almost never pulls on the leash, and when he does, it's truthfully my fault. But the best result of Zenergy's bootcamp--I TRUST him. I trust that he won't run. I trust that he won't go after prey. I trust that he'll recall when I call for him. I trust that he'll be gentle with children. I am sincerely very happy with choosing Zenergy.

Zenergy was a total GAMECHANGER for our family. We had an overwhelmingly rambunctious 1.5 yr old 85lb rottie mix that had so much energy she would pounce and knock you over. She even knocked our 7yr old over and he had a lump on his head from hitting the counter. She would bolt On leash and pulled 4 of my ribs out on a walk. We were at wits end, we even considered rehoming our pup because it was getting so out of hand. We tried two other positive only trainers but her behavior actually just got worse. Feeling cornered with no other options we found Zenergy and then it all changed. We now have an enjoyable, happy and secure pup that is a joy to be around! We will be forever grateful to Zenergy and highly recommend them! Thank you Zenergy!!!
