Zenergy Dog Training

We are SO glad we chose K at Zenergy to help us with our Ludo, a 7yo Boxer/Cattle Dog Mix we rescued as a puppy. He has always been an anxious dog--he would bark at everything, he was reactive on the leash and pulled like crazy, and he was aggressive with other dogs. His behaviors brought up a lot of stress and anxiety in me as well. We went to several veterinarians and trainers, and Ludo was put on an antidepressant for his anxiety, but he still struggled with these behaviors. All of his behaviors intensified when we welcomed our first child into the family 3 years ago. I am currently pregnant with our second, and I knew I couldn't go through the stress of having such a nervous wreck of a dog along with a newborn. A friend recommended Zenergy Dog Training to us, and I could not be more grateful. K brought such peace and calm into our home--I couldn't believe it. We did private lessons, and K supported and encouraged me to be the strong leader Ludo needed. Ludo is a completely different dog. We were able to wean him off his medication, and at a recent check up our vet said his blood pressure was lower than ever before. She couldn't believe how calm he was! Ludo is a dream to walk with on the leash. He is actually crate-trained (we could never get him into a crate--he always freaked out and escaped) and can be off leash with us at the park (even when other dogs are walking past!). K helped me (and my husband) change our relationship with Ludo--for the better. I wish we had found Zenergy years ago. Ludo is clearly a happier dog, and we are a happier family thanks to K.

We drove from Chicago to Phoenix because after lots of searching, Zenergy was the best place to train our frightened, aggressive, two-year-old Aussie, Bruce. As a puppy, we weren't able to successfully take him into adolescence without huge amounts of anxious energy, fear-aggression, and confusion over who was in charge. We completed a puppy training class around 10 weeks and assumed that would be enough. At one year old, as he began snapping at family and lunging at anyone who entered the house, we began looking for reliable behavioral experts in the Midwest. I'm sure it exists somewhere, but the referrals we received felt like band-aid solutions. We searched for about eight months until a family member saw Zenergy's online presence and teaching content, and we were hooked. We made the road trip to Phoenix, Bruce spent five weeks at Zenergy, and it's the best decision we could have made for him. We cried watching his transformation on Instagram, and cried again when we picked him up. It was immediately clear he was a changed little boy: relaxed and confident letting someone else lead and knew the rules and how to succeed. But perhaps most importantly was the four hour go-home lesson. WE needed the training, perhaps even more than Bruce, to know that unbeknownst to us, the way we loved our dog were making him very chaotic inside. We worried a bit about whether our goofball baby would still have his funny personality with all this training. He's still the exact same doggy - just calm, has purpose and is in control. When we said bye to K and RJ - the two people he tried to bite not five weeks earlier - Bruce flipped onto his back so they could rub his belly. They truly feel like family and we're so grateful for their leadership.

We had a new pup, Emma, a sweet but typical golden retriever puppy who needed lots of work to fit into our family with a 2 year old. K and RJ did a masterful job with our little Emma. She spent almost a month with them and literally came back a different dog, confident, respectful and calmer. She is just a such to be around thanks to Zenergy. We HIGHLY recommend their talents transforming your dog, its so worth it!
