"Training with Compassion" We use clicker training using 100 percent force free methods. We teach classes, private lessons and day school. Group classes run through puppy, beginner, intermediate, CGC/therapy and limited service dog training. We also consult with clients on behaviors such as jumping up, pulling leash, reactivity, resource guarding, fear-based behaviors, potty training, recall, and many other behaviors. We pride ourselves on being members of The Pet Professional Guild, The Association of Force Free Trainers. Instructors are required to be certified through The Certification Council for Professional Trainers (CPDT-KA). The use of shock, e-collar, prong, choke collars is NEVER USED by our trainers or at our facilities.

Owner and trainer of Puppies Pause Training, Jaqueline, is certified in dog training completing 18 weeks of book classes, 6 weeks of trainer observations, 6 weeks of graded training, and over 25 hours of volunteer work at a local shelter. Jaqueline fosters dogs and has four of her own- Tina, Sophie, Zsolt, and Zsuszi. She can work with puppies that need potty trained or older dogs that may have lost their trust in humans. Puppies Pause Training offers both group or private dog training sessions.
