At The Dog Wizard Twin Cities, we take the guesswork out of dog training by creating clear, proven training plans tailored to each dog and family. We help puppies and adult dogs build safe, reliable obedience through private lessons, group classes, and immersive Board & Train programs. Using positive reinforcement, fair corrections, and preventive structure, we address everything from leash pulling and impulse control to reactivity, fear, and anxiety. Training doesn’t end with the dog, we coach owners through follow-ups and alumni support classes so skills transfer into real life. Here at The Family Fido, we believe in making training fun, easy, and positive, all while helping to create top quality family dogs. Dogs and humans communicate very differently, and learn differently from one another. Our goal is to educate the dog, but more importantly, educate the human on how to learn their dogs behaviors and mannerisms so they can be efficient teachers. When you are able to understand your dog and use positive, appropriate training techniques, you are able to create a stronger bond with your dog, all while creating a well mannered dog in your home and out in public. Whether you just welcomed a new dog into your family, have dog behavioral issues that you have trouble eliminating or just want some basic obedience, Companionship Dog Training at Animal Inn has different programs that we customize to meet your dog’s training needs. Before we get started, we usually start off with a free consultation either at our facility at Animal Inn Pet Resort and Spa, or at your home.
