Day training in Mississippi

At The Dog Wizard Madison, we help dogs and their owners build calm, reliable behavior that actually holds up in everyday life. Our work includes private lessons, puppy school, day training, board & train programs, and lifetime support classes that keep skills sharp long after training ends. Clients come to us for help with reactivity, anxiety, aggression, leash pulling, littermate challenges, and stubborn behavior, and stay because we teach them how to lead with clarity and confidence. Training happens one-on-one, in groups, and out in the real world so dogs learn to make better choices anywhere. Families often tell us it feels like they brought home a completely new dog, one they can finally enjoy living with.

Positive Reinforcement Training. Whistle, and Clicker training. Approved CGC Evaluators with AKC. FTPTA follows guidelines and principles of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers International (APDTI). All dogs are kept inside our home. We train all dogs in a home environment. Requirements: Canines must be under the care of a Veterinarian. Proof of Flea control and Heart Worm Prevention. Owners are required to attend weekly training sessions. Equipment: Well fitted buckle or break-a-way collar. No Electronic Collars please. Fitted harness and 6 foot leash. No Retractable leashes please.
