Advanced dog obedience training

What is NAKC? The North Arkansas Kennel Club, Inc. was founded in June 1990, by founding members, Sherry Gibbany, Pat Falvey (Looper), Betty Bezek, and Dr. Tammy Jones, DVM. In March 1993, our club was granted permission by the American Kennel Club to hold sanctioned B/OB matches. In 1999, we were granted permission to hold our first point show on April 22 and 23, 2000. Our Purpose: AKC is a non-profit organization devoted to the advancement and welfare of purebred dogs and the sport of dogs. NAKC is concerned with good breeding practices, proper care of dogs and maintenance of purebred dogs. NAKC promotes educational programs through schools, training classes, shows, and other club activities.

North Country Canine provides a full range of classes from Basic Obedience to Competition and Rally Obedience and Agility. All classes are taught by Caron Bronstein, an obedience, rally obedience and agility instructor with more than 19 years teaching experience.

Since 2007 That's right, NKYK9 has been honored to serve the Tristate's dogs (even a few cats by default) and their families for well over a decade! We recognize that not all dogs or family needs are alike and require a program based on their goals and challenges. That versatility has kept us busy supporting your successes! Let us put our decades of experience to work for you!

Paws for Responders provides, co-raises, and trains facility therapy dogs for Emergency Responder facilities to enhance their Emotional Wellness programs.

Paws In Motion provides dog training that can be done in private sessions or group classes. Private sessions focus on your specific behavior concerns to develop an individualized plan. Group classes cover skills from basic obedience to therapy dog work and dog sports. We also provide Canine Rehabilitation (Dog Physical Therapy) for dogs with pain from injury, surgery or arthritis or conditioning for canine athletes.
