A Leg Up K9

We could not be happier with the training our pup recieved! Not only did our dog learn all the necessary commands, we also learned so much about communicating with her. Training at a leg up K9 is a must if you’re looking for a companion you can trust. Our dog went due to minor dog aggression, but it seems like many behavioral issues we weren’t aware of are fixed as well! Jake has been very responsive with follow ups and is so informative when we have questions. We felt safe and secure while she was away and will never stop recommending a leg up k9!

We put our mini bernedoodle puppy through Jakes program and couldn’t be happier. Griffin went through the 3 week off-leash training and was a transformed puppy. He would always jump, was a rolling ball each time he saw someone new and got excited. You still have to maintain the work with your doggos afterwards, but Jake is able to transform the dog and teaches you how to handle your dog so you know what you need to do. Jake is extremely responsive and is our dog “guru”. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the results and absolutely will come back if we choose to get another dog in the future.

It’s been almost 6 months since we took our Goldendoodle pup to Jake and all I can say is WOW. We did the 3 week of leash training and the transformation is incredible and so worth the investment. Our dog listens at the drop of a dime and seems so mature for only being a year old. Thanks to Jake, we are able to take our pup everywhere with us, from vacations, breweries and family gatherings, we’re able to give him the best life! Keep in mind, your dog will go back to his old habits if you don’t put the work in at home afterwards. This takes a lot of practice/effort on your part so make sure to consider that your dog will not come home “perfect” without your continued training. Overall, I would give A Leg Up a 10/10. We intend to send all of our future dogs to Jake as well!

As a new dog mom, I have learned a lot from Jake at A Leg Up K9. My puppy went to Jake at 7 months old and chewed everything, always play biting, and not walking well on a leash. Now my pup walks perfectly beside me, and does not destroy my home anymore. I will say, Jake can train your dog perfectly, but you also have to put in the hard work like Jake did. I have had follow up texts and phone calls with Jake and he truly cares how your dog is doing after training.
