FirstBarkElizabeth was an absolutely great trainer! She guided our puppy kindergarten and was very attentive and helpful to all of our fur babies. She paid special attention to basic manners and obedience. Penny (my lab puppy) learned a lot from this experience — overall it was super beneficial and fun! How long will it take to train my dog?
Length of time depends upon you, your dog, and your goals. In any one lesson, we can cover 1-3 topics over the course of an hour. You may wish to have multiple lessons on one topic. We used Calvert Dog Academy to train our new puppy and they were absolutely fantastic. The "play dates" were extremely helpful for socialization and the in-home training was incredibly useful in starting off on the right foot! Our dog loved the training and so did we! Couldn't them recommend more!

Elizabeth is an absolutely incredible trainer. Over the course of our training for Charlie (a rescue puppy who began working with Elizabeth at 5 months old), I found her to be an interpreter of sorts: helping translate Charlie's psychology into actionable steps we could take. Our kids (11 and 5) participated in the training and were empowered by Elizabeth's suggestions and the ways she involved them. Charlie is a more confident, happy dog because of the work Elizabeth taught us to do, and our household functions so much more smoothly. We would recommend Calvert Dog Academy to anybody and everybody.
Elizabeth was awesome training our English Bulldog/Beagle mix. She not only helped me as a first time dog mom, she also helped my younger children with training exercises and videos.
