Camp Lucky Board and Train

We were over the moon to adopt our boy but knew he needed some training. We are so happy with the results of our 2 week board and train with Desiree. Not only did Astro come home to us knowing basic commands and listening when we needed him to but Desiree kept me updated and sent me photos of him and in depth videos of his training with a written explanation. 6 months out and we are still so happy with the our decision to get him in training. Thank you Camp Lucky and Thank you Desiree!!!!

We had our blue heeler, Baldr, trained at Camp Lucky and couldn’t be happier! Jessie did a phenomenal job. Before training, Baldr wouldn’t listen and was a handful, especially around food—he’d even nip at our kids during meals. Now, not only does he listen to commands and walk with us, but he just hangs out calmly in the living room during dinner. A big reason we wanted him trained was so we could take him camping and have confidence with off-leash activities. Thanks to Jessie, we feel totally confident we’ll get there! Jessie also taught us how to keep up the training at home and even offered refreshers if Baldr regresses. Plus, he’s always super responsive and helpful when we reach out. Highly recommend Camp Lucky and Jessie—they’ve made a huge difference for our family!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Camp Lucky! They went above and beyond to get my pups boarded when I was supposed to be out of town for a wedding and the plan of care for the dogs fell through. Jessie came and picked them up the very next day in time for me to make the flight! My two dogs completed the board and train program with he and his family. I appreciated that the dogs received both leash and in home training. He even spent several hours working with me when he dropped them back off to make sure I understood all they had learned which built confidence in my ability to continue their training at home. I received frequent updates with videos and pictures of their progress and after they were home, Jessie remained available for any questions or concerns I had over the following weeks. Camp Lucky is clearly passionate about helping us provide the very best for our dogs. The love and attention given to Bonnie and Dino while in their care was evident. My dogs came home more calm, balanced and disciplined. I wholeheartedly recommend them for any of your dog’s training needs and am especially grateful to Jessie and his family for the incredible lengths they went to for both me and my dogs.

December 2024 we decided it would be good to find a trainer for our 2 pups. Bailey 1 1/2 and Lilly 9 months , sweet angels they could use a little training. ( Barking , jumping , begging at the table, you know all the things little angels do ) . We contacted Camp Lucky and were given Jesse's name, He came out to visit and our pups thought they had just found a new bestie, !!! That made the decision for me, Bailey and Lilly were going to boarding school at Camp Lucky with Jesse as their Captain. Jan 2, 2025 came fast and it was off to Camp Lucky with their new bestie Captain Jesse. !!! AS lonely as life was at our home , things were busy at camp , the videos were showing my sweet wonderful angels learning the real meaning of STAY , COME, PLACE,HEEL. WOW , Captain Jesse has all the magic words and touches. ( And they are happy and the love Jesse) This is what you want for your loved and adored pets. to respect and obey you as their loving parents. Jesse will help you achieve this. . ... The day the came home was wonderful and life has been much better( My favorite word now is PLACE ) WE are still working on the things Jesse taught them. but ,i can say it is the best thing we have done.
