Cold Creek Dog Training

We adopted our dog from the SPCA Jan. 2025. He had been abused by his previous owner. We were desperately in need of help since all of our other dogs were raised from puppies. He was very scared of men. We contacted Cold Creek after reading their reviews for help. Cindy from Cold Creek has proved to be a godsend! She showed us so many helpful training tips to try to get our dog to accept being around men. By the end of our training sessions, our dog was much more comfortable and accepting of my husband! He’s a very happy dog and we are ecstatic with his progress! I would recommend Cold Creek to anyone!

I contact Cold Creek to talk about training for my 1 year old German Shepherd who was recently rehomed to us. After the consultation I found out that they no longer operate in the Kingston area. They helped direct me to someone local as we both agreed that in person lessons would be more beneficial than virtual ones based on the issues we were facing. It speaks volumes to their integrity that they were willing to direct me to another trainer based on the needs of my pup.

We found Cold Creek through google and reached out after liking all we saw online. We first talked with Rose about all they had to offer with each program and what to expect for not only our dog but for us as well! She then put us in contact with Ryker's trainer Nadia who listened to all we had to say about what we were currently dealing with and what we were wanting for the future. She helped us decide on the Grow with Us Training Program and did an amazing job at working with us and our schedules to get Ryker booked on the calendar. Nadia even helped guide us through some challenges while we were waiting for training to start. Ryker started his training at roughly 4 months old for his first 2 weeks and when we arrived at the training facility Nadia listened to all our questions & concerns and did a great job at showing us around and easing our minds! While Ryker was away Nadia was fantastic at sending videos showing us what he is learning and how to keep teaching him when he comes home. Before Ryker left we were in the thick of puppy biting and some reactivity. The two week consistent training really helped teach Ryker what his new expectations were and the drop off training Nadia taught us really eased our minds on what to do while we waited for the next round of training. In between training once again Nadia was amazing at working with us through some new teenage behavior that started to pop up. When Ryker was 8 months old he went back for his second round of 3 week training. The best part was Ryker was sooo excited to see Nadia which shows you how she cares for and loves the dogs she is working with! Just like before we recieved updating videos while Ryker was away and when he came home we did a refresh training session in a park so Nadia could help guide us through everything. We cannot say enough nice things not only about Cold Creek but Nadia as well! We are so happy to have found such a welcoming program and a trainer that feels like family! Looking forward to continuing our training journey!!!

We are so happy we chose to seek professional dog training through Cold Creek. Cindy was our trainer, and we did private lessons at home and out and about. Our German Shepherd started to show signs of reactivity and was becoming protective of us and our home/property. Cindy gave us the tools to make meaningful improvements and was very professional and patient throughout our trainings. We now have the tools to continue our training, since it is a lifelong endeavor, to make sure Remington is the best pup out there!
