Dog Psychology and Training Center

We can’t begin to share how much our lives have changed in only a week... my boys called Trinity the chupacabra.. jumping, chewing, barking at other dogs, licking everything in sight, dragging us on walks, counter surfing, garbage dipping... the list was endless! We are so Blessed to have found DPT! Not only did they train our dog, they trained us to help ourselves..in turn to help our dog. The time Trinity spent boarding was absolutely invaluable. I would do it again without hesitation. This training program was by far, one of our best family investments.We actually love Trinity more and want to spend more time with her. She lays down next to us when we play family games (and doesn’t eat the pices), she went running with my son for the first time and stayed next to him the whole time, and we have eaten dinner without her trying to get our food. Our home was very stressful trying to manage our naughty pants dog all the time! Trinity is really becoming a part of OUR pack... this would not be possible without Dog Psychology and Training! Thank you so much for changing our home!!

After only a week of training, our dog has made leaps and bounds. I was worried how quickly he would resort back to old habits and behaviors once he got home but I’ve been left stunned that he is not regressing after coming back. This should be his most trying weekend home and he has proved that he knows and can practice what he’s been taught. There can be so many distractions going on and he remains in “place.” We can eat the table without worrying about him coming out of “place” and jumping on the table. We use to have to bribe our outdoor lover to come back inside at bedtime and he would refuse. Now he comes when called! No begging him to go into his crate either! We can tell such a huge difference with him. We have gotten so many compliments on his behavior and how well mannered he is in public. We went for a 2 hour walk this morning and he was pretty close to flawless, a far cry from where he was a week ago. We are talking community yard sales around the neighborhood, kids dogs and people everywhere, all kinds of stuff we pass. And he was amazing! Thank you so much you guys! Can’t wait to see his capabilities once he’s done with his 3 week stay!

We are so grateful for the Dog Psychology and Training Center! Our 14 week old Australian Shepherd Dodger was beginning to herd our 2 kids and turn our house upside down. There were a few times my wife and mother and law just couldn't handle him and we were seriously considering finding him a new home. That is when I called the Niermans and they gave us the guidance we needed. They explained everything in detail and sent us multiple video emails on what they did and how to integrate it with our family. After 2 weeks of training with Niermans and their wonderful trainer Veronica, Dodger has completely settled down and is obedient. The best part is that it was so easy! We just dropped him off for 2 weeks and went through a 3 hour training session ourselves to learn the simple system. We are really looking forward to our follow up and the monthly dog socials to build on the tools we've learned. He is completely relaxed and seems to be so much happier. He now understands his position in the pack and just wants to please us! WE ARE BLESSED WITH SUCH A SMART AND SWEET PUP NOW! They have empowered us with the proper skills to communicate with our dog. Our 6 1/2 month non-neutered GoldenDoodle Finn was a two week student with his trainer Veronica! We were amazed on our first week break return, seeing our Finn was doing so well of his command matrix! Veronica has a command of the training aspect and helped us understand what his past five days process involved! Finn did so well on our weekend break, that his e-collar control wasn’t used much because he adhered to all the commands! I can see if you give your dog an inch they will try to take advantage! When we returned for the final week recap, Veronica showed us video of Finn being off leash in downtown Greenville! That was a proud moment to watch! Veronica is a wonderful trainer and very clear on her instructions to us! We look forward to the follow up training and future socials! We still have issues with Finn’s separation anxiety problems, but was told could take awhile to over come! “Fingers crossed!” Also the E-collar kit provided is very simple to use and of good rugged quality! P.S. - We were disappointed that the owners never met us during the two week sessions! To not take anything away from Veronica (She’s Fabulous), spending that much money, one of the owners should given a personal presence of using the training services!
