Dog Sports At Kim's

I’ve been taking my German shepherd here since he was a year old. He’s 5 now and with the help of the trainers here, specifically Patty, he has grown to be an absolute superstar. Even outside of class she has shown endless support and kindness to us throughout the years. All of the trainers here are amazing and want to see you succeed. I can’t recommend this facility enough to get into dog sports and to grow closer with your dog.

Twenty years ago, I met Kim Berkley through our mutual interest in agility training and when she decided to open DSK I was her first member. Over the years, I have been able to train 10 different dogs to compete in a variety of dog sports because of this facility, Kim and her trainers. The building and equipment are always clean and in good working condition. Kim's trainers are all accomplished in multiple dog sports with their own dogs and provide a safe learning environment for dogs and their people. Many experienced trainers are members and there is a camaraderie and culture of sharing tips and information to help the dogs learn which is totally awesome. The atmosphere is positive and comfortable and I feel it is my dog training "home".

I cannot say enough good things about DSK. I’ve learned so much about high drive dogs and it is truly inspiring to train with the best of the best at a woman owned business with all female trainers. Our agility trainer, Christina, has been an amazing coach and friend and never gives up on us. Her impeccable training led us, a Novice A team to compete at the Agility League National Championship and win the Novice 20 inch class and team competition at our second ever trial experience. Obedience class with Nancy taught us necessary skills to help Ronan compete and maintain composure at trials, in the ring, and out and about in the real world. Scent work with Patty gave us yet another skill set and fun game to play, Patty was so patient with Ronan and his quirks, taking extra care to make sure he was successful in class. Then of course there is Kim who is always generous with her time and has always encouraged us as a team, her incredible list of achievements speaks for itself. Come join us at DSK!!!!!
