Excellent communication and very understanding. Their facilities are fantastic and their care and love for dogs is evident. I think what is most amazing however is their program. They were able to take our dog with incredibly high energy and independence and transition her into a new dog that listens and obeys but is still playful and happy. I think what is most amazing is just the change in the overall demeanor of the dog and the work they were able to do to ensure the dog does not think boredom is a license to cause chaos. Beyond their results, their post program support, classes, and boarding are without real rivals. We look forward to continuing with them going forward.

If I could give Ducktown Lodge 10 stars, I would! Our dog does not take well to new dogs, so kennels with group play areas are out of the question. Sara, Lucinda, and Jeff, and the rest of the staff at Ducktown Lodge go way beyond expectations to make our dog feel comfortable, happy, and secure while she's there. They are truly uniquely gifted to care for dogs.

I recently boarded my dog here for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The staff was caring, attentive, and it was clear my dog was well loved and cared for. The daily videos and updates gave me great peace of mind while I was away. I would absolutely board here again and highly recommend them to others.

I have a one-year-old Bullmastiff who used to struggle in public, especially with distractions. After completing the board-and-train program at Ducktown Lodge, he came back a much more well-behaved dog with solid manners.
Sara and Lucienda were absolutely wonderful throughout the process. They sent daily photos and videos, answered all of my questions, and continued to support me in the weeks after bringing Cerberus home to ensure he transitioned well and maintained his training.
I also attend their Saturday classes, which have been incredibly helpful. It’s a great opportunity to continue training in a structured environment with other dogs and real-life distractions.
I highly recommend Ducktown Lodge to anyone considering training for their dog.
