Full Spectrum Dog Training

In April of 2024, my partner and I took home a German Shorthaired Pointer puppy, Fern. I do a lot of trail running and we live a pretty active, outdoor lifestyle, so we were excited to have a companion. We knew that once she was about a year old, we would want to start e-collar training so she could be free on hikes in the woods. With such a high energy, high prey drive breed, our expectations were that this would take at least a year. We started training with Jason at Full Spectrum in April of 2025 and by late May, we were able to take her on trails fully off leash with confidence in her amazing recall. We thought this would take at least a year and she was e-collar trained in 2 months! Being able to take her on hikes and seeing her sprint back and forth across the trail, sniff every stick, and run free has been so rewarding. I can confidently say she was not this happy or fulfilled while walking on leash. We could not have wished for a better outcome and are so grateful to Jason for giving Fern the tools and training to have a great life! Very highly recommend Full Spectrum for e-collar training.

Jason at Full Spectrum Dog Training transformed our one-year-old Corgi into a better version of himself in just a handful of sessions. Right away, he knew what Hank (our dog) needed and educated us on how to provide for his needs, so not only did he help train our dog, but he also helped us! He never pressured the new tools, but suggested a few options that have been life-changing. We highly recommend Jason; you will learn so much!

We were at a breaking point with our dog and were seriously considering rehoming him when we contacted Jason. His eCollar program not only helped us correct and resolve the initial unwanted behaviors, but Jason also gave us the confidence and tools to handle additional situations as well. Remi learned “place,” improved his manners significantly, and now walks calmly on a leash without pulling or reacting to every person/pet we pass. Thanks to Jason’s guidance, we’re no longer overwhelmed. Remi is a happy, well-behaved part of our family, and we’re so grateful for him changing our lives, and Remi’s, for the better!

Jason has been fantastic with our pup. He not only worked with our pup to correct bad behaviors and reinforce the good ones, but also worked with my partner and I on how to continue the training going forward. Our pup loves him and we are very happy with the results. We now have a fantastic adventure dog who can happily run through the woods without us worrying about him running off or getting into trouble.

Jason is incredible to work with! He does a great job listening to our goals and teaches us what we can do as owners to give our pup the best chance to improve. Jason is working with us to correct some leash reactivity problems that our young dog is having. He has shown us how to be good leaders for our dog, which has given us and our dog more confidence. We have just started incorporating drop off sessions with Jason to continue to expand our dog’s experiences and socialization in a controlled environment. It’s been a pleasure to work with him and the progress for us (and our dog) has been great to see, especially with him giving us tools and techniques to continue to work on in-between sessions. We still have work to do to improve but are so appreciative of the skills Jason has taught us to help us function as a family with our pup!
