Enrolling our 5-month-old Mini Australian Shepherd in the two-week training program at Gen1 K9 was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. While I’ve always known shepherds to be intelligent, I never could have achieved this level of training on my own. Lorena’s expertise and passion for both dogs and their owners truly set her apart. I feel like I’ve learned just as much as our dog, Baker! She even helped us resolve his car sickness, which was an unexpected but much appreciated bonus. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found Gen1 K9, and I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for top-notch training.

Lorena and Denise have completely transformed my dog over the two weeks she had with them! We started off pretty reactive towards other dogs and now she can ignore other dogs on our walks! She was also able to even walk next to another dog! The turnover lessons have really helped me with my confidence with my dog, which makes my dog trust me even more! It was training for my dog and myself as an owner! I am very excited about where my dog is now with the training provided by Lorena and Denise!

Lorena is wonderful and I highly recommend her services! We did a 2 week day training program and I’m so glad we decided to work with Lorena. She was so patient with my dog, which gave me a sense of comfort that I knew my dog was in good hands. Lorena takes a customized approach with each dog and went out of her way to simulate situations I wanted to train my dog for (practiced vet visits, having visitors over, even took my dog on a hike and gave her a bath!!!) Lorena gave me the tools and confidence to be able to continue on with what my dog learned during her 2 weeks and I’m so grateful.

Gen1k9 changed my family’s life. My husband and I are able to do ALL of the things we love to do WITH our dog and without anxiety. (We could barely take her walks before training.)Taking our dog anywhere used to be a huge struggle. We never thought we would be able to have a peaceful car ride, meal, or outing in general. And then we found Gen1k9. We have the confidence in ourselves and our dog that any time we do anything we all are safe and secure. Even just things like leaving our dog in her kennel when we aren’t home is the SAFEST place she can be. And not to feel guilty about that. I am not kidding when I say my peace of mind and our whole well being has never been better. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
