Honor K9 Dog Training

Mark is an AMAZING trainer! He is also a very kind human! I will be recommending Honor K9 to everyone I know looking for a dog trainer. I had a puppy that was giving me a lot of trouble and Mark came in with very knowledgeable ideas and suggestions to help with the not-so-great behaviors. Trainer Mark was also very thoughtful about how the dog was feeling as well as the owner. The trainings were never about "make the dog do X" and move on. It was more about why we do certain trainings and what they mean for the dog's thought process. Alexis, the communicator and scheduler, was very friendly and helpful. She definitely deserves a shout out also! A very wonderful experience all around!!

Mark is the absolute best! He is kind, supportive, answered all my questions and addressed specific concerns I had with my puppy. He customized her training to fit her personality and made it fun for her to learn new things! I’m actually still in the middle of working with Mark — we’ve only had a few sessions so far — but I already had to leave a review because the changes I’m seeing in Duke are just incredible. Duke has always been anxious around other dogs, strangers, and new places, and honestly walks were really stressful for both of us. Mark has been so patient and kind with him and just takes his time, never rushing anything. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does. What I love is that he doesn’t just work with your dog, he gives YOU the tips and feedback you need so you actually know what you’re doing between sessions. I feel so much more confident as an owner already. We still have a ways to go but the progress Duke has made in just a few sessions is something I didn’t expect to see this quickly. Can’t wait to see where we end up. If you’re looking for a trainer who is patient, knowledgeable, and truly amazing with dogs, Mark is your guy. So glad we found him!

We had such a great experience working with Mark! Our puppy Lucy is a 4-month-old Great Dane, and we wanted to start training early to get ahead of any bad habits that can come with such a big breed. Lucy learned so much in a short amount of time, but honestly Mark trained us just as much as he trained her 😂 He is incredibly calm and patient, and you can tell right away that he truly loves animals and understands how to work with them. His approach made everything feel manageable and practical for everyday life. The whole process was smooth from the start. Booking the lessons was easy, and they were very flexible when Lucy had an allergic reaction and we needed to adjust one of our training days.
