Instinct Dog Behavior & Training, New Jersey and Philadelphia

Everyone at instinct that we have met and worked with have been incredible. We are currently going through a difficult situation which requires us to board our dog Zeus. Our dog is very reactive so we started with behavioral training with Amber. Amber is extremely kind and understanding. There are times where we have felt that we are going one step forward and five steps back. Throughout the training to prep him for boarding, Amber has been incredibly positive and has allowed us to be hopeful. Zeus has been progressing and improving and the difference is already noticeable. We still have a lot of work to do but we know that Amber is the best person to help us move forward and make life easier for Zeus with his anxiety issues. We also had the pleasure of having interactions with Sarah, Terri, Shelby from Instinct as well as Dr. Sabrina from the Animal Behavior Clinic. At every turn, we are always greeted with a smile and Zeus is always well taken care of even with his reactive nature. We are currently on the trial portion to see if Zeus can board and up to this point, we greatly appreciate the effort and the kindness that we have been shown. No matter the outcome, we feel as though everything that can be done is being done to the fullest extent in regard’s to Zeus’ anxiety issues and our boarding circumstance. We are only part of the way through our training with Instinct and already we have seen a huge improvement in our dog's behavior and stress levels. We have enjoyed great in-facility instruction and homework which has made our dog's life better, and in turn, ours. Additionally, we have used their boarding services when we need to travel and our dog always comes home happy. The staff is a dream to work with and very understanding of our extremely hyper pup. We're so happy we found Instinct!

Instinct Englewood has been so wonderful for our pup (see picture below of him at his last boarding session!). We utilize their boarding services whenever we go out of town. We feel so comfortable leaving our dog with Instinct. They send great pictures and updates throughout our dog’s stay. He is a rescue and has special behavior needs, and Instinct meets those needs and then some. Our dog gets so excited when he knows where he’s headed! We highly recommend Instinct Englewood.
