M.O.A. GUNDOGS

Our lab Timber spent 2 weeks boarding at MOA while we traveled abroad. Marv and Laura are the most caring and amazing people, they embraced our doggie as one of their own. We received daily updates how things were going as well as videos throughout the week. The facility is organized and very clean, amazing to say the least. Timber made many friends, came home healthy and with improved behavior. We are so thankful to have Marv and Laura, they are the only other home that we trust to care for our dog. If you are looking for a boarding facility for your lab, look no further, this is the best one that you will find ♥️ Thank you MOA!

I rarely give reviews. I’m going to make an exception due to my experience with MOA gun dogs. After spending a lot of money sending my young lab to a trainer who made a lot of promises and failed to deliver on any of them I went the do it yourself route. I did my best with a talented dog with a lot of drive but I lack the experience and was frustrated. MOA offers a 2 week preseason tuneup program and after talking to Marv and Laura I sent my dog for some work. To say I was pleased with the outcome would be an understatement. Their communication was fantastic with frequent videos of what they were working on and the progress that was being made. They knew from the first day that they were going to have to go off script with my dog due to some fundamentals that needed to be addressed and they did so. Their goal was to make the most of the 2 weeks and boy did they ever! Guage came out of their program a different dog. They worked him hard, sometimes 4 sessions per day and they did so without breaking his spirit. On pickup day Marv spent a lot of time working with me and my dog, showing the progress, teaching me how to continue what he had been instilling in my dog and running a bunch of retrieves. My dog left happy, well worked, fundamentally light years ahead of when I dropped him off and I left feeling like I got far more than my moneys worth. I cannot express fully how strongly I recommend MOA. They can use me as a reference for anybody interested in sending their dog to them. Top notch in every measure

A giant thank you to M.O.A Gundogs. Marv and Laura have been a joy to work with. The dedication and time they put into my 3yo black lab June and all their dogs in training is nothing short of amazing. The communication and video updates throughout training are great. June arrived to them with a few minor problems and Marv helped her work thru them. Their two week Gundog tuneup is no joke, and I feel it gave June a great head start going into the 2025/26 waterfowl season. June has also stayed with them for boarding, and they treated her as if she was their own. I would highly recommend M.O.A. Gundogs, and plan on sending any future dogs to them for training.
