Our mission is to provide a safe, secure and clean "Home Away from Home". Bedding and toys are welcome but will be supervised.Please bring your dogs food with you. It is best to keep your dog on its regular diet.Normal routine for the kennel is the dogs are fed, watered and aired in the morning and as needed. They enjoy playtime in one of the twenty two airing yards morning and afternoon during the cooler hours. Midday, nature walks and pond swim playtime are also available by request. Be sure to ask us about Train & Board or Brush & Board.

Mill Pond Kennels offer two levels Dog Obedience Training Programs. Basic dog obedience is on lead training that will address most common issues and training with your dog such as leash pulling, teaching heel, stay (extended sit), here or come, NO, Jumping Up, etc… Advanced dog obedience is an add-on off-lead training program. In addition, Custom training programs can be designed to fit your family’s lifestyle. Mill Pond Kennels offers puppy, basic, and advanced group dog training classes as well as Private Dog Training Lessons. If you want to reach a terrific achievement with your dog, let us help you reach all the levels of the AKC Canine Good Citizen titles.

Before sending him, I worked a lot on heal training but could not get passed the come when called and little behavior issues. Nikki worked with Finn and I was amazed at how well he responded to the training after just 6 weeks. My golden like most goldens is very high strung and requires a lot of patience. I would highly recommend sending your dog to Nikki at Mill Pond, Finn is doing incredible and listening to all commands. I am confident now bringing him off leash wherever I go, even with distractions. 10/10 recommend.
